Which one did you try if you don't mind me asking? Have been looking at some online but unsure which one to try. Also was it easier to put your foundation on with a brush? I tend to use my fingers, but wonder if it's worth investing in a brush.
    Huge thanks in advance x
Can recommend the M&S foundation brush - read about it in a mag or somewhere - and it's good. :j

Also finished the handwash in the bathroom (I'd filled the pump with 2 hotel mini bath foams from a Paramount hotel - this chain of hotels was taken over by Barcelo Hotels years ago :rotfl:). My dilemma now is whether to continue using up my bubble bath as handwash (as I don't have baths very often) or start using one of the posher handwashes/hand lotion sets I was bought for Xmas. I think I will start using one of the new handwashes and then when that's empty fill it up with bubble bath - at least it will look posher!
Use the posh stuff now! Remember the pink rose candle story :A

Another friend has been raving about the clarisonic and it's all I can think about:o:D. I don't have the money for it though and am not putting it on my cc so may have to try and put aside $1 a day so I can buy it next year lol.
I've read about that too. It's a tool that chic places like SpaceNK sell. I notice QVC sometimes sell it too (handy as you could return it if didnt like it). Basically its an intense cleansing tool with rotating heads. Supposed to be really good. My skin can be sensitive so I'm not ensirely sure. But if your skin is ok now do you really need it? :p

.....BUT feel like going shopping:rotfl:trouble is with being on the tolietry andclothes challenge what on earth can I buy anyway??????????

Decided half the fun is the actual shopping (the thrill of the chase to get a bargain perhaps?) and then the stuff just gets added to the stash:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I (try) to feed that addiction by going to the charity shops. I often kid myself by taking a nice carrier bag with me. :o

    congrats ebayqueen!!!! :)
I am adding in my sig how much I am currently spending, and I am shocked that I have already spent £30 when in my mind I had just a couple of spends! It's keeping me focus since I would feel really bad if I end the year with £400 in toiletries that I probably do not need! :(
Your so right £400 - I mean that's a really decent holiday:) v. stuff:mad:. I have a last spend date (inspired by EH and others on here). I will not count spends on things I need or stash has nearly run out of. It's noting (shaming) the unnecessary spends.

Ooh Good Idea about the nice bag!

I also enjoy a trawl through our local car boot sale in the summer. Have had some amazing finds- got a £80 dog cage for £8 - could hardly carry it. More clothes than I can mention (still being good and doing 1 in 1 out on clothes...)

I am safe there from toiletries because I never trust the sellers as to how old they are, and products often look like they've been out in the sun/rain/garage too long.

P.S. I'm still on the naughty step but my last Boots order was a bird clock and a torch! How long do you have to stay on the NS after an offence.....?
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!
  • I have a UU to report

Lush Ultralight Body Lotion WIBA? I like it but they have changed the formula now. It used to be 14 SPF but is only 10 now.So will not buy again. Even though it's a body lotion I was using it both for my face and body for day time use and "Strawberry feels for ever" massage bar as night time body butter

Now will use the massage bar for both day and night body butter and have started with a sample size Lush "Gorgeous" moisturiser for face

I need someone to ban me from Boots.
