I dont know if even more purple is too much. The house is a white shell at the moment. I must go to some fabric shops and have a nose to get some ideas.

Tixy have you seen my NSDs i am so happy i finally managed to do something right. How is horrible bug? are you feeling a bit better? I hope you are warm.

Maybe you could get a different lighter purple/lilac or something to go? or something with a pattern which is a bit purple (but not all purple). I like fabric shops, i tend to start thinking I could make things myself when I go in them (the reality is that I buy fabrics and leave them in bags for years).

Your NSDs are fantastic Kit, you are doing superb, much better than me this month. I am feeling better thanks and I am warm as I am at my parents next to their woodburner which is very toasty (though the laptop is slow). I have been to the hairdressers and to a1di today and I went to the carwash but it was a free wash so that was a bit MSE, so done more today than the rest of the week. Tired now, hoping I am going to get fed whilst here so I don't have to cook!

Well done on those NSD's hun, you are doing so well, considering what you used to spend at work especially :T :T I've had an unexpected NSD today with not going out after all - will get the bits I still need together with cheese for neighbour tomorrow, as I spend anyway on a Sunday (fruit & Veg at market/car boot)

Hope you are feeling better again Tixy - will you be back at work on Monday?

Glad you went to hairdressers Tixy and that your parents are looking after you. Hooray.

Can someone shout at me i am having such a lazy day? Nieces are not coming round after all. Secretly i am glad as i am a bit cream crackered. Might jump into shower for a soak in lovely smelly lush soaps. They always cheer me up.

APARTMENT FOR RENT

A businessman met a beautiful girl and agreed to spendthe night with her for £500. They did their thing,and, before he left, he told her that he did

not have any cash with him, but he would have his
secretary write a cheque and mail it to her, calling
the payment 'RENT FOR APARTMENT.'


On the way to the office, he regretted what he had
done, realizing that the whole event had not been
worth the price. So he had his secretary send a cheque for £250 and enclose the following typed note:

'Dear Madam:Enclosed find a cheque for £250 for rent of yourapartment.. I am not sending the amount agreed upon, because when I rented the place, I was under the Impression that:

#1 - it had never been occupied;

#2 - there was plenty of heat; and

#3 - it was small enough to make me feel cozy and at home.

However, I found out that:

#1 - it had been previously occupied,

#2 - there wasn't any heat, and

#3 - it was entirely too large.'

Upon receipt of the note, the girl immediately
returned the cheque for £250 with the following note:

' Dear Sir:
#1 - I cannot understand how you could expect a beautiful apartment to remain unoccupied indefinitely.

#2 - As for the heat, there is plenty of it, if you know how to turn it on.

#3 - Regarding the space, the apartment is indeed ofregular size, but if you don't have enough furnitureto fill it, please do not blame the management. So, please send the rent in full or we will be forced to contact your present landlady

Have had really lovely time with DD, she was great help with the flat pack drawer thingy. And this evening she first time ever wanted to know about couple of words what they are in Finnish :j So she now knows chocolate, orange and banana :T (suklaa, appelsiini ja banaani - if you wanted to know )

Glad you two had fun. Do you fancy coming round and putting together my tv stand? Blooming scary thing opened it up this morning, cried and went to bed and it's supposed to be simple. It is too heavy. John, sister's ex is doing it for me tomorrow, hooray.

You dont sound as if you have rested i hope you feel better though.:)
