I've got a bit of a puzzle. Went and did my shopping at Mr T today but refuse point blank to spend £2.50 on grapes when I know I can get them for £1 at the market.
Puzzle is, If I go out and buy the grapes tomorrow but nothing else, could I count it as a nsd?
What do you think?
Oh dear, mp, sorry about the wiggling:D
I'm going with everyone else and saying yes.. but only if you just buy the grapes:DThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Not sure if it will be of any help, but it may put your mind at rest that S!mply b are wrong & you are right!!!!
Thanks so much & well done on posting the link - I cant do that yet!;)LFV - good to have you on board the good ship NSD again - sorry to hear things haven't got off to the best start for 2011 but if you need support or just a moan/vent, you know where we all are x
Great to see you back!:T
Nargle - I think the kippers were just for us who fell slightly off the NSD wagon last month - and I am sure I saw Igor doing something with them at the NYE bash...there were certainly some dodgy looking snacks on the buffet table :rotfl:
Jinty - great news about the sofa and an extra doggy treat for doglet (though perhaps have a word with him about the consequences of chewing the new one.....)
Kerri -In this case, I broke my own rule about not ever buying extended warranty and got it for the new one. It covers repairs/ replacement for pet damage and anything else that can go wrong with a suite. I've been caught out too many times with sofa damage, so I am going for the belt and braces approach!;)candyapple wrote: »Today is NSD 4.
Yesterday was shopping and prescription purchasing. I think my flu is finally on its way out :j as I was able to have a nice bubbly bath tonight and enjoy it (and a sneaky glass of my christmas wine that I'd been saving for when I could actually taste and enjoy it) and not want to fall asleep wherever I put myself.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend whatever you're doing. xx
CandyApple - glad you're on the mend!
Good morning all,
Too early to say if it will be a NSD today. It has been pouring snow here all night, so havent decided if I will venture out. We are meant to be going for lunch with M&D and also OH needs a new thermos for going back to work on Monday.
Watch this space..........will report back later!
Have a lovely day everyone!:)
you will always be rich enough to be generous.0 -
Good morning guys
Number 6 for me today :j:j
Unfortunately tomorrow won't be cos its my day off and I need food and work shoes (can't have achy feet at work:eek:) but apart from that I am doing really well. It helps that I have enough sweet stuff to keep me going till Easter so if I need a sweetie fix I won't be spending on that for a while yet.
Well done to everyone for getting the New Year off to such a good start:j:j:j
Have a lovely day everyone

I'm going to aim for a NSD today, avoid the shops and eat from whats in the house - don't worry there's enough to sink a ship (hmmm!)
Also going to put a loaf onto bake in the BM, study and take some photos for ebay listings to ease up some clutter in the spare room. Also clean a couple of rooms and do some washing
woo what a day!
Still if I manage to not spend any money online, on TV shopping and in the shops that will be a good achievement and I can add another day onto my total. Let's see how I get on!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

Well done Meersy
I'm not likely to get a NSD myself now till Monday, in fact if i do I'll fall over in shock! Today DS and I are going to go Wii game hunting then go for coffee and a catch up, and I'll do food shopping tomorrow afternoon as there seems to be less people around in town on a Sunday getting groceries so there should be more bargains. Fingers crossed! Enjoy dinner tonight~Nym~
