is it too late to join for this month? or should I just wait until next month?

as you can see by my sig I've been slowing chipping away at Debts for 4 years and would like to start picking up speed to get the *bleepers* gone for good!

It's never too late to collect NSDs... with 6 more days, just let us know what your aiming for and come join in.

I filled the car and topped up the shopping this evening so most definitely not an NSD. I did remember to allocate money for tomorrow though but forgot I had my waxing appointment on Thursday or I could have done that too. However, I'm quite happy, I've never made it to 16 before!

I also picked up coffee and tea for the office - ouch! Pricey! I was way behind on my payments but I'm thinking it might be cheaper to bring in my own teabags from now on! (£5 per month in work kitty, £1 going to the "pressie fund")

Oooo ... I'm loving that! I too might have to casually slip that word into conversation today!

Did you manage to slip anthropomophise into the convo today then? My word of the day is insouciant :p

These airport horror stories are dreadful. I've never had a major problem flying but once it did take my son 4 days to make it from London to Melbourne only to be told by his carrier that they'd not pay for his missed virgin blue flight to Tassie... I ended up having to wire him the money to get there. Gave up fighting it in the end. Bloody air companies have their own rules to suit emselves.

Anyhow, went to salsa so not a nsd. Not expecting another till Thursday either.

    Have a good one all

  • Spendy day for me. My tooth feels worse today than yesterday so bought extra strong painkillers and ambesol in the hope that this will numb the pain and let me sleep. Hopefully the antibiotics will kick in soon and I'll feel a whole lot better.

But I have managed to register with an NHS dentist and have an appointment - although not for 2 weeks:mad:

I reached my target yesterday but would like to pick up couple more NSDs before Tuesday.

    Just checked bank account.....

Had a D/Debit (car breakdown cover) go out yesterday, so would have been a spend day even if I hadn't gone into the city

But there's another (c/h breakdown) gone out today, so yet another spend day for me
may just do a Whoopsie hunt today, given it won't lose me an NSD.... need more tea bags from L!dl anyway (have opened last box, which will last about another 8-9 days), so can head up there after work :)

  • Good morning everyone!

Yesterday I reached my target of 19 NSDs!! Yay me! I should get at least 3 more NSDs this month, so I'm going to push for 4 more and a revised target of 23 NSDs - thank you Spoon!

Hope your feeling less blue today SF.

    Evening,

Well I can happily say the health visitor has been cleaned LOL. Well health visitor turned up an hour late but my little cupcake now weights 8lb 7oz at 3 months old. Still tiny but doing very well! Carpet cleaners decided not to turn up and after calling them about 5 times they claimed their van broke down (considering they were also booked to come last week and never came).

Plumber tomorrow and the carpet cleaners supposedly coming so probably another NSD for me again!

Was definitely a NSD today making my total 13! Also had a lovely cheque from the HMRC for a tax refund so a little money off my debt :)

    Hope everyone is well.

Wow, what a cute little one you have!! You really have your hands full with the new baby and moving house and all that entails! Remember to take time out for yourself so you don't run yourself ragged.

My DS2 was (and still is!) quite a monster. He was 9lb 2 when he was born...but at 7 weeks he was 14 lbs!!! He is now nearly 18years old, 6'2" and over 17 stone...and he is still growing!!!:eek: Funnily enough, he was always above the 98th centile on the weight and height charts!! :D:D

Have a great day everyone...decided to declare today as NSD no 16 today...only one more to go :j, no plans on going out any more today...too much to do at home!! :rotfl:
