    Good evening all!

CW - it's a small world! Yesterday there was an item debited from my bank account of which I knew nothing. Reported it to bank today, debit card cancelled, new one en route. However, it means my Mr T delivery for tomorrow has had to be cancelled because they won't be able to collect their money, so I have got to traipse into town, draw cash from my bank and do a mega shop instead. Booger!

Kerri - HK airport is huge!! That sounds horrendous!! The worst thing about our HK experience was that we were returning from a short backpacking trip round Vietnam, but I had a broken collarbone so my poor travelling companion had to sprint across the airport with a backpack on each arm! Poor boy, he wasn't the fittest lad either :o

Yes...I can deff confirm HK airport is indeed very large... all I needed was a blue jump suit, and a big furry microphone and I'd have been just like Challenge Anneka :rotfl::rotfl: Poor you having to get round it with a broken collarbone.
These airport horror stories are dreadful. I've never had a major problem flying but once it did take my son 4 days to make it from London to Melbourne only to be told by his carrier that they'd not pay for his missed virgin blue flight to Tassie... I ended up having to wire him the money to get there. Gave up fighting it in the end. Bloody air companies have their own rules to suit emselves.

To be fair, AA who I was flying with were really helpful and did sort out everything, one couple were supposed to have a connecting flight with another airline and although I didn't hear the conclusion I did hear the staff member tell the couple that they thought AA would be liable for sorting out all missed flights as it was their flight cancellation causing all the trouble.

Spoony - hope you're ok - don't overdo it trying to keep up with us lot x

Cheryl - well that was lucky with your cc - annoying but would've deff been worse if the transaction had gone through.

Not a NSD for me today - my friend treated me to lunch which was lovely (my shout next time) but I did need to pop into Mr W to get laundry liquid, softener and cotton wool. Cat food was also on offer so got kitty a box (as she had 1 puch left) and my moistureiser was still on a really good offer (£2.97 instead of about £5 in some places) so got another one in the stock pile. Also had to get some pocket tissues as my nose was running with the cold weather but they don't go amiss when travelling. Oh and 97p on a jar of beetroot in Mr T for OH. Total spend today £11.04

Back on the wagon tomorrow all being well. x

ps bit annoyed with myself as I have mislaid a St*rbucks receipt from the weekend, wasn't for much but still irksome none the less

don't give up, you still have a few more days that are all potential nsds. Every nsd is an improvment :D

My day was a spendy day as expected, had a lovely pizza with dd and dgs. Then went into b*ots and spent £20 on skincare. To be fair it was mainly because it was 2 for £20 plus a couple of quid to use the voucher they gave me.

Must look at b*ots thread to find out how others are using the coupons.

Not had a chance to read yesterdays and most of today's posts. Sorry if I missed anything, I'm sure some kind person will give me an update (pretty please)

Have a good evening all, I'm off for bath and bed
  • Caught a haggis

Now that I would've liked to see! (Hope the tooth's a bit better)

Spend, spend, spend today - car service so wallet feeling a bit lighter (or rather, cc feeling a bit heavier)!

Only plus side was that I spent nearly 3 hours in the garage doing uni work so something good came out of it.

Trying hard for NSD tomorrow. Night all:)
