OUCH!!!!!! Thanks Spoon :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I've only just come back, honestly!! Got a good three hours studying done, going to relax in a very hot bath as a reward. Not spent a penny yet today and not leaving the house so I'm declaring early that today is NSD number 11xx

Yay. I'm going to copy you! :beer: I remember someone saying they'd had an early bath and put on their pjs at 4.35 that other day. If I do that then there's no way I will go out to T to buy doritos (sorry to keep on about them folks - I'm slightly delirious :eek: with the obsession today for some reason). Off to run the bath now, line up the spluttering toiletries, pull out my new as yet unworn pjs and wait for an evening of relaxing, forum and Midsommer Murder. All dorito free. :rotfl:
I therefore am proud to declare that against all the odds, today is NSD 3 in my household!

Anyone else who's tempted to nip out for snacks etc tonight. DON'T. You can resist! :rotfl:0 -
NSD 2 for me!
I need to be really good the rest of the month so I can achieve my target!! Only 16 days to go and I need 12 more days, so I can only allow myself 4 days of unnecessary shopping :SQuit smoking *1st January 2010*

Thanks for making this point. It makes my NSD challenge all the clearer. I've got to get in 9 more, Yikes. Hoping once I'm back at work full time next week that I will not nip into the shops for food etc on the way home. The good thing about being ill for 10 days is that you don't go out. And I've been a perfect :A with the temptaions to shop online. I've not done it - apart from a T grocery delivery.0 -

Well so far a NSD for me but Im really fancying a bottle of wine so not sure if I CAN resist! but as it will come out of my £10 weekly spends allowance I think I may treat myself, trouble is ive got to go to Mr T to get it and as Doritos have been mentioned I am now so wanting some myself so it will be a supreme effort off will power not to get any, we do need butter tho to go on the home made bread Ive been making every day, would have managed on the butter I brought in my 10 day shop last Sat but the Damn dog nicked it off the worktop, ate it then threw it up all over the sofa :eek: only good thing was........it was OH's dog not mine so he had to clean it up!!:rotfl:
On a positive note though I did an online shop last saturday costing £140 (to feed 6 inc 4 hungry teenagers!) and apart from the butter and a bottle of milk oh and our 'spends' I havnt had to buy any food etc till my next shop comes on monday which is a HUGE improvement as I was getting so extravegant on foodMember 1145 Sealed Pot Challenge No4
NSD challenge not to spend anything till 2011!:rotfl:0 -
:beer: Don't do it Jane! Let's be strong and stand firm! :beer:
I'm off wine until my antibiotics finish on Tuesday, so the temptation to open a bottle is slightly muted by that inconvenience.0 -
Hi everyone
I happy to announce that I have now achieved 11 NSDs this month. It has helped that when I haven't been working I have been too shattered to shop. We have been a germ ridden bunch here with OH having the flu over xmas and then me having a yucky cold so we still have wine and choccie biccies left over from xmas that we were both feeling too poorely to have. I will have to shop tomorrow though but it is all going to healthy stuff cos we really do need to get into better habits (not to mention I am determined not to spend a penny on anything unneccesary until my savings account looks a lot chunkier)
I hope everyone is keeping well and that this dull weather is not getting anyone down
Have a good weekend everyone
Cuddles:)

Spend day for me. Someone is supposed to be coming over tomorrow (had hoped for today, but his cold got the better of him), so have been and got the making of roast chicken, jacket spuds and veg. Also got a jar of Mr M coffee I know he'll drink (as I'd rather open one I know he likes than my more expensive gold types I'm pretty certain he said he's not keen on) and some fresh s/skim milk (not even looking at the date on the skimmed one I'm currently using!). And a fresh loaf of bread (again, not looking at dates on the one I'm coming towards the end of)
No whoopsies today thoughCheryl0
