  • Not the predicted NSD for me today:mad: There's something wrong with my car so I had to take the train today. I can't afford to sort the car out until the end of the month so I've decided to take the train until then. I bought a flexipass which cost £19 but at least I shouldn't have to spend anymore until next week:j

Number 8 so to avoid popping to the shops for cigs or any other rubbish i had a shower & put my pj's on at 4.45pm  felt very lazy, but at least it preserved my NSD :D

    good idea!
    well done on your success!

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Feeling guilty about OH being out of tobacco and not being 'allowed' his £10 a week spends till Saturday, should I give in and give it to him before? He has PTSD and smoking is important to him, but we do need to cut down and I know that if we go to get his baccy he will want coke etc too, I know that if I give in over one thing I will end up giving in over all so not sure what to do ;(

Yes, a shindig is very much in order. I'll get my kilt and sporran out again for Burns Night. I've just got it back after getting it cleaned after the St Andrews Night stramash. Any excuse for a man in a skirt on this thread;)
Chinese New Year sounds right up my street! Can we have a dragon? Can we, can we!:j
jinty, you are such a big kid:D:D:D. Yes, of course we can have a dragon, would you like a real live one or one of those ones with lots of lovely men in kilts?:D

Also, we must remember to save the date for the Royal Wedding - I assume we're all going to that?:rotfl:

    :)

Of course we are, we have our seats reserved already, by special invitation and you know we all love an excuse for a new hat;)

I think I might need to figure out how to do a signature soon :D

Pleasure, shedstar, I like to say hello to all newbies joining us:)

Re signature, click on user cp at the top of the forum, then "edit signature" and away you go:D

    Hope that helps.

hit the worst point of giving up smoking (& this time i won't use my mum's dramas as an excuse to start again!), so to avoid popping to the shops for cigs or any other rubbish i had a shower & put my pj's on at 4.45pm  felt very lazy, but at least it preserved my NSD :D

Well done on stopping smoking - how long have you been stopped for now? I've given up too, as of New Year (apart from a little slip-up last weekend after a few too many drinks!) x

Well done both of you:j:j:j:j. Keep us updated with your progress
