LfV - so sorry to hear of your latest bad news...you are having quite a sad time of it lately (((((hugs))))) to you and all your family.

Hazel - good luck with the "chat" next week

Hya Cheryl, good to see you back...I had a feeling someone scrummy had appeared on your horizon! Good to have you back with all your listings...still very organized, so impressed!!

Well, today ended up a spendy day...DS2 hurt his foot @ rugby yesterday and needed to see our local friendly sports physio this afternoon. So decided to get diesel on the way home (wouldn't have lasted to Monday, my next spendy day). Picked up the TV guide at the petrol station as we needed one for next week.

Thought about doing some food shopping while DS2 was at the physio...but we have everything we need for the meal plan, didn't need to get anything....so didn't!!! I sat in the car and read...much better - and cheaper!

The next three days "should" be NSDs...we'll see!!

Tomorrow is my last day of invigilating for a couple of weeks...thank goodness. A friend said to me today...don't you get bored?? Well this afternoon, I had two IT guys and an Exams staff member helping me solve the numerous computer problems the poor students were encountering (on-line tests)...absolutely no time to get bored!!!. Got it all sorted in the end...but a bit of a nightmare. I suppose I should have expected something...it is the 13th after all...even if not a Friday 13th!!

So next week is going to be like my first "proper week" of the New Year, where I get loads of catching up done...and some relaxing!! :) At least that is the plan!!

    Spent again (supermarket shopping night)

I have followed Martin's advice on 'the downshift challenge' and my fella is getting quite used to economy fish fingers etc now :) So in a way it's good spending ;)
  • (((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))) LFV, so sorry to hear your sad news, you are an amazing support to your family, but please take care of you too

Twistedhazel, brilliant news! Fingers crossed things go well for you

Slowly ((((((((hugs))))))))) sorry you are feeling down

Number 8 for me today, hit the worst point of giving up smoking (& this time i won't use my mum's dramas as an excuse to start again!), so to avoid popping to the shops for cigs or any other rubbish i had a shower & put my pj's on at 4.45pm  felt very lazy, but at least it preserved my NSD :D

    Hi all

Didn't manage number 10 today - chipped in some cash to buy flowers for a colleague who has been having a rough time lately - seemed to really cheer her up so it was worth it.

However, it's not halfway through the month yet and I'm already more than half way to my target :D

Enjoy the rest of the evening everyone
