  • LFV - just wanted to say how sorry I am you've lost Dobey - it's a truely heartbreaking thing to do but, as others have said, at least we can give them a peaceful ending. They really do become part of the family and losing them can be just as hard as with a human family member (my dog's come and put his head on my knee as he can see the tears running down my face and is getting all worried).

It will get easier and you will remember the good times and you'll probably wonder if you did the right thing (I did when I had to have my cat put down and thought "maybe I should've given him a couple of months longer") - don't, as an owner you know when the time's come and you've done the kindest thing. :grouphug:

#6 today. I had expected to spend today as DS needed a duvet after our cat spewed:eek: on his very old and tatty one but he reminded me that he still had some money left that my Mum gave him for new bedding when he got his new bed, so the money came out of that:j
Not planning to go out tomorrow apart from one little job to do in the afternoon and cashless till Saturday anyway so FC for another:)
