Hello Ilovepugs, its really horrible when you have a sticky few weeks and don't lose any weight, I always find that going back to writing everything down you eat and drink give a bit of a kick start. The thing is to hang on in there and thinka bout how much you have lost overall and to congratulate yourself on just how well you have done.

I'm hoping for a good weight loss this week because next friday we go away for the weekend to my sons wedding and will be at the mercy of the hotel......cooked breakfasts are just the start:eek: I'm already planning on taking loads of WW snacks and plenty of fruit just incase. iIts a 6hour journey and my Mum and Dad have decided we should stop halfway at a Morrisons for Fish and Chips!!! I will have to get my stubbon head on and have a yummy salad:rotfl:
  • HELLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Im back!

Been a busy fews week, work is hetic, lots of carbooting, and lots of meals and takeaways were had! Not to mention no exercise due to zumba being cancelled!

    New month new start!

Weighed myself on the wii this morning and according to that I have lost 2lb. I have been making an effort the last week or so. Bought food to take ino work instead of buying from the cafe everyday (which should also help the pounds in my purse!) and been resisting the urge to have a takeaway after long long days at work! It said i weighed 10lbs over the stone, last time I got weighed at WWs was sadly 2 months ago month eek but that was 9.5 and the wii is always about a lb heavier, so that should mean I am back to the weight I was when I last weighed at WWs. Altho I have lost none I am glad that I have managed to loose what I put on over those weeks as I was extremely naughty and now its onwards and downwards (weight wise!).

I like that flourgirl has the pedge in her signature. I think I may commit to a pledge too, does anyone else want to join in? Might be a good motivator :D.

My pledge for October is to loose 4lbs :D. (which would take me to stone and a half mark!)
  • Good to hear you are still with us ilovepugs - it does get quite disheartening when you keep sticking. I'm with flourgirl and its probably a case of going back to basics and noting down what you are eating and drinking and hanging on in there. My maintaining is probably down to the fact that I haven't been quite as strict as I have been in the past so I need to get my act together and get the backside into gear and try to be good for the next few months as we have a few days away before christmas when I can probably ease off a little bit before the christmas festivities begin.

If you have a fairly good week flourgirl surely you can relax at the wedding - don't let it spoil the occasion. Hope you all have a lovely time. Good luck for tomorrows wi.

Visited the gym this morning at 7.30  and I've booked a couple of aerobic classes for during the week.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend girls - the weather seems have turned here :(

  • Well done on undoing the damage Giggles.:T

I daren't set a target loss as this usually results in me heading in the opposite direction  so instead of maintaining I will probably end up gaining (niot good). I would like to make the 8st + total loss this week and would like to be into the 13 somethings when we go away for a few days late November - these are just 'would likes' you understand and strictly NOT targets :D:D

Think I have just become a bit too complacent as I feel soo much better in myself now and can get reasonable clothes but I know I still have much more work to do.

    We will get there ;)

maybe targets was the wrong word.... maybe call it a 'wishlist'? A kind of... it would be nice to aim for this but even if I dont reach it Ive still accomplished something to trying to kind of thing? that way it could include everything from 'trying to cut down on snacking' to how much weight you would 'like' to loose.

I think for october my wishlist is to get my 10% at WWs and get to the 1.5stone mark, and to buy lunch at work no more than once a week! (ideally not even that!) as I think part of my damage has been done from just ordering food from the cafe at work which half the time I havent even enjoyed or wanted, plus its a chunk of £40 coming out of my wages each month!

Ilovepugs - been there, done that! It happens. Just chalk it up to experience and try and see if there is a reason it may have happened. My old WW leader used to always say when we had a gain, if you know why its happened then its no problem because you know what to fix, its when you have stuck to the plan rigidly and gained that there is a problem that needs investigating.
