Ive only ever done one which was for the lotus shield, don't usually bother. I don't normally sell enough one of item to make it worthwhile. HT makes our you'll earn loads more, but it's not a great deal more than your usual 25% anyway. Not the advice you wanted lol but it's honest. I think the best way would be to offer it at a discount - but then you're not earning more so no different. If you did parties I can see it working, cos you might get more Interest in them.
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A
  • yeah ive had people cancel parties on me too, after i've got things organised, so its left me out of pocket! I may offer out one for my own home, not sure yet!
  • Hi, has anyone ordered the Supershock Vivid Liquid Eyeshadow, I ordered it from the last HT. It came in my order yesterday, what a nightmare, it really is liquid, very very runny even once you give it a good shake. It also splits after a couple of mins, very odd. When you put it on it is a very weak Teal colour, not vivid at all. Not even sure if I can be bothered to do a return for it, do you think I should email Avon CS just so they know the product is "carp" !

Just wish our printer wasnt playing up, dont know if its the remanufactured cartridges but always keeps jamming the page half way through with a printer cartridge error, and its started to not recognise the ink levels on the colour ones! SOOOO cant afford another printer thats for sure.

printers don't like fake cartridges. I am still trying to sell my old Epson as I had this problem and DH bought me an HP.

The best thing is to get the original cartridge refilled, as it works out a lot cheaper than buying new ones.

It will recognise the coding on the cartridge, etc, so you won't have problems, no clogged heads.

And I think some of the companies are available through cashback sites.

I'm with you, I have tried a couple of them and I think they are carp too. Doesn't go on very evenly and doesn't feel very nice either :( Also contemplating returns
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???

    Another Anew customer.

And it was from a sample! Never had a sale of Anew from a sample before. I think that's the first time anyone's tried a sample and straight away said, that's great I'm going to buy it. I gave out a few SSS sachets when I first started but it was a while before people went for that, and when they did it was the 5 for £5 offer, which was very popular.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Oh dear - I've had a customer order the mauvey one of these! Grrr - I wish they would sort out these issues before sending products out - Mum and I were two of the first people to report problems with Cashmere Finish at the point at which Avon were saying they'd not heard of any problems with it!

I'm not very good at giving out Anew samples as I always worry I'll give them one from the wrong age bracket and they'll take offence haha! :rotfl:

dingdong - I got an Anew fold-out chart that helps people decide which range is best for them. So I just show people that and tell them to pick the range that sounds most like them - rather than going straight for the one for their age range. The chart appears in HT7. Nobody's been offended about me offering Anew. I make a bit of a joke about not wanting to get their age wrong. I ask if they'd like to try a sample of the Anew range, rather than saying "you look like you need an anti-ageing product" :D
