depends on how quickly they manage to recruit someone. Could be a week could be months.

Why don't you apply? They asked me if I was interested when mine resigned....:rotfl:

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I don't even want to be SL never mind ASM!! haha

It's been a month since she left, so longer since she resigned and no word yet, I assume a new ASM will email all reps? xx

thanks, not that shaken up just getting flash backs of it! luckly a small bit of damage done so wasnt a major accident! how i managed to drive to do the school run is beyond me!!

I was the same with bringing home my work! now am trying to find things to do while the kids i look after are at school!! xx

Have a large glass of wine or whatever your poison to help you sleep :)
It might only have been a small accident but you will have a few days probably of going "what if?" - it's normal :)
The good news is that everyone is ok and you're ok and the kids weren't in the car - just try to put it behind you - I do that best by keeping very busy LOL and having a glass of wine in the evening in the bath tub lol

Well gang I'm officially a trainee SL :D And today I signed my first rep! 24 hours after becoming SL - not too shabby ;)
Aiming for at least one more this weekend! ;)
Need to drop all my books tomorrow morning before going into the office for 10... my first day back after 10 weeks off (no it's not been a lovely holiday lol blooming stressfull!) No doubt I'll be spending the next 2-3 days catching up on mails and working out what HAS been actioned and what hasn't in my absense... and having meetings about what will happen now... Hoping I can continue recruiting reps at a few a week at least so I can tell them to stuff it! That or that hubby gets his payrise ;)
Then I can make Avon my full time ambition immidiately :)

yes, they will email all the team to introduce themselves, then will keep emailing you and calling when you don't put an order in,when you don't put one in on time and put small orders through your account if you miss a campaign without telling them! :D

thankfully my last ASM wasn't like that, she sent a group email to everyone the day before an order was due saying "pay you balance & place your order on time" haha but then I don't think I've ever not placed an order, think I've done every campaign. And I've never paid late or ordered late lol so she's had no reason to chase me for anything else :rotfl::rotfl: xx

have decided im going to ask my ASM/SL if i can have some more territory in the area that I work if there are no other reps! am thinking it will give me something to do in my spare time at work as get heaps of it!!! and need all the money can get as was involved in an accident earlier today, am ok just really glad didnt have the kids in the car as i normally do!!

So glad to hear you're OK Chelsey - take it easy for a few days as you're bound to be a bit shaky.

I put my C4 boks out today - have tried a slight change to my usual plan - normally I hold back enough books to put in with my customer orders when they are delivered, but this time I've just kept back my one for myself, two for OH to take into his office, and one for Mum, and have put ALL the rest out to the territory. I've covered well over half of my area in one hit, will get sufficient books back soon enough to cover the customer deliveries, and should be able to cover most of the rest of the territory on the second sweep of books. I've already had one new customer contact me with a £44.50 order by text which is pretty good!

I have to say one thing I've not done is put out tick sheets asking if people want books. Initially I put a bok through every single door. I've now whittled that down a bit as either some houses have said they aren't interested, or there are a few that for various reasons I have decided against covering. I had a very quick count up last night, and out of 151 houses I have about 20% of the houses ordering now, and about a further 15% not having books. I've found that where people don't want a book they have either made the effort to catch me immediately I've put it through the letterbox, or a few have popped a note into the bag when they've left the book out. Other than that, I assume that people are quite happy to see them! My suspicion would be to think that if someone comes to the door and asks if you want to see something like an Avon book, a lot will be caught off guard and simply say no from reflex.

MC, can you give me the details please of who I need to contact at Avon. Someone has gone into my ACCOUNT AGAIN!

Hi,

Yes, it was just sales.leader@avon.com The lady, who rang me was called Kathryn (she said she was the only Kathryn in the dept. so it would reach her)

Seems this is quite common then..... how can employees get away for sooo long committing what is tantamount to fraud against their own employers? (Even worse.... it causes non-employees hassle, time and expense to resolve these issues caused by others!)

I got an acknowledgement and something about 28 days. Don't actually expect to hear from them again but my upliner tends to keep her ear to the ground so maybe I'll find out something in due course.

Good luck getting your 'phantom order' sorted.

• It was a yellow dot when I placed my order, but on my invoice it says it's not coming. I know it will probably come next time I'm just cheesed off because it always happens when it's a new customer.

Least it's a quick campaign so shouldn't be long. Keep your customer informed and all should be well.
