I guess it depends on how many customers you have and if you can afford to leave a few books with thempersonally anyone who puts it out gets another on my streets!
Those who don't leave it out I give at least another 1 to before putting as a no along those who obviously ticked the no box on the sheet
If it makes you feel better I had 4 orders on 3 streets - about 20 houses on each lol so that's 1 in 14?But I shall persevere as I know they have had some shoddy reps in the past and I want them to know that I am sticking with them!

Yeah if you get a book back keep trying for a few camps, could be they were let down by a previous rep, or want to order but got no money till next month with the Xmas bills coming in. You could always try them on the previous campaigns brochure to save you money on brochures, then if you don't get them back it doesn't matter so much.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Help please!
A customer has ordered (C3) page 78 iterm number 05538 (Contouring Eye System for £13.00)
Is this the same as what is in the ''ANEW beauty bonus pack'' on pg 41 (clearance) of HT5 for £5.50 (with other items in too?)
If so I will be chuffed as I've made very little this campaign and it goes in tomorrow!
Thanks in advance!0 -
Melvis, what does your sig mean?
Melvis is a nonROCKer ... but she still got her first choice of Sun Hols0 -

Me & a bunch of other MSErs were booking a £9.50 holiday from The Sun (we book every year, it's the cheapest holiday we find to take the doggies with us).
We had priority booking references and needed 8 codes to book the holiday. They print a code every day in the paper but you can book a day early if you can guess the last code so every year a group of MSErs do just that...... but SOME people this year with priority booking references had a bonus code "ROCK" (they were the ROCKers) so they could book even earlier.
The rest of us were non ROCKers who had to wait an extra day to book so there was a chance that the holiday you wanted would be sold out but I still got my 1st choice caravan park & 1st choice of dates :j:j
Hope that all makes sense :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Small business owner 🧵 Ex MSE comper 🏆 Student loan repayer 💴 Romanian dog rescuer 🐕 Hopefully a cost of living survivor 🤞🏻0 -

Agree with MrsT; if they didn't tick No then give them another book but maybe put them on your back campaign then if you don't get the book back it's no loss. To be honest, 1 in 10 take up is about normal at the beginning..... It does get easier i.e. once you've established your customer base. When you call and the book's not left out, leave a note so they know you've come back when you said you would. Reliability is all; customers don't generally 'trust' you with an order until they know you and/or you've proved yourself. (Putting a note through also sometimes makes the customer feel 'guilty' for not putting your book out - especially if you've put a note on the front of your book saying when you'll be back to collect it. That can sometimes lead to an order anyway or at least encourages them to be more reliable for you i.e. by putting the book back out when you've said you're coming back.)
It's all 'mind games' really! :rotfl:
Don't give up; the benefits are great once you've got over the initial hurdle. :T
Good luck!Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Got two new customers this time round thanks to the foundation offer ....
But both of them ordered the same foundation, same colour and type and nothing else, and yeah you guessed it .... It's out of stock.
Why does it always happen when it's for a new customer????0 -
Sometimes these things happen, is it TEMP out of stock ie yellow spots, or red X, if its yellow spots, it may still come with your order, So notify your customers they may not get their product this time round, and offer them something else as a bit of a sweetner if you can x (maybe something else in your stash if you have a stash, or a body lotion or room spray, as a really sorry)0
