Thats very kind of you, but theres no real point to be honest i skipped most of my customers with 2's anyway so i'll just get 2s out and see how i go, and put 4s out when they get delivered week friday!

No worries :) I'll use them to canvass new territory in that case ;)

BTW ladies... as C3 can still be back ordered to - would you use them as full books (I'm on C4 now) - my main worry are those darned scales! My customers won't be able to back order them now so either I put a note on there saying "sorry no longer available" or I use them as canvassing books with the "No longer a current book blah"... what would/do you do? :)

Stats for my latest round of new territory :( :

    58 books dropped
    3 customers - gah! that's a hit-rate of 1 in 20

So, if everyone who's reading also orders that takes me up to 11 customers out of 58, so around 1 in 5, which is still lower than I expected compared to my last lot of territory. I'll have to turn nearly all non-readers into customers to get up to 1 in 3.

If you have 1 in 3 in your previous territory then you are doing very well :T

1 in 20 is a little low though - did you do a tick sheet to find out who may be interested in another brochure? I have 1 in 6, 1 in 10, 1 in 5 on my main streets although always looking to increase :D

Just done deliveries tonight, knackered as up til 2am bagging and tagging (orders!). One of my bestest cutomers said she wasn't very impressed with C4 and have to admit I agree. Think it will be a much quieter brochure for me. Mind you, another customer is already ordering for Christmas 2011 so look forward to another 14 campaigns of Chrismas pressies from her.

Will take a look at C5 soon to see if it looks better. Will be glad when the short campaigns over so I can settle back into a routine.

    Hows everyone else doing?

Have I missed something? Why can't you back order the scales?

Would guess it's to do with having to order the talc and nail varnish in C2 to qualify and not being able to do that from C4 but sure MrsT will correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm a 'belt and braces' sort of gal.... Ordered extra talcs @ 75p anyway because it was a good price; wasn't keen on having to order the nail varnishes but did it anyway just to make sure that IF my (team's) customers turned round and decided they wanted the scales then I could oblige/help.
Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon ;))

You're right on the money MC - I do have one spare set of scales coming so hopefully I could just not keep them to myself like I planned LOL I think I will just have to risk it :) What the heck... :)

I SERIOUSLY hope Avon don't do that type of loyalty scheme again! That would just do my head in :rotfl:

Avon do these strange loyalty schemes! they make it so difficult for the customer to gain anything!

    That's an understatement Aesop lol

Next time I guess I will just have to bite the bullet and stock a few up and if need be then do a special offer in my news letter if I'm sat with more stock than I like lol Or as I'm becoming a trainee SL tomorrow I guess it's not a bad idea to have a few spare in for my teams customers too LOL

Money Maker - oh yes, tick forms in every one :D Guess how many people actually fill them in? I've gone one step further now and - under the "please don't throw away" note on the front of the book - asked people to fill in the form. Then the form is at the back facing out of the bag, and I've drawn around it with a bright orange highlighter. Can't miss it. I say "form" but it's not something so complex it's off-putting. People left books out first time so they saw the date underneath the form but didn't check a box.

Anyone who leaves a book out is on the list to get another one. Non-readers are on every other book for 3/4 campaigns. I don't want to bombard them, but they'll know I'm still around. Readers and customers get every book unless they've said otherwise. People who didn't return books are getting expired ones in C9 with a note to get in touch.

Last time people were ordering straight away and I got most of my customers on the first go, picking up 1 or 2 a campaign after that. This time it feels like the number of potential customers is small from the start and there's not much room to build on that. Hmm... could drop backorder books again to the people who didn't return them? With my new, super-highlighted form. Do many of you return to non-returners with anything more than an expired book?
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

I'm not very typical afraid. I already have an established customer base so generally only recanvass annually. However, I may be missing out on those who didn't mark my tick boxes so have plans to 'bombard' them with back brochures until they let me know! I hate non-returners. Will put one reminder in for collection the following day but if not left out again then assume they are a 'binner' and will make a note to add them to the annual list ('have a reps' and 'binners').

C3's sales have quite inspired me and once the standard campaigns have returned then I will catch every customer going that I can.

You watch - this time next week I'll be moaning about Avon again, talk about love/hate!

I have an ever-growing list of "binners". The most I'd re-canvas these is twice a year with expired books. No need to go back, so they don't have to do anything and I don't have to do anything. I'm using my "don't throw away" notes for the first time today so I'll soon find out if they work.

I know what you mean about love/hate! Getting new territory is great because there's all that possibility and then you start it... It does make doing my regular round feel so much nicer. You appreciate that you'll get all your books back and several orders. The uncertainty is out of the way. I do persevere with houses for as long as possible - they don't have to order first time - but it's nice to get to the point where you've got "regulars" and everyone else only has to be re-canvassed once in a while.
