Hi hunny what about a nappy cake ,you would need baby size nappies (size2),big bottle of bubble bath, elastic bands, some white tissue paper ,some goodies that you can attach to cake .I made one for my next door neighbour and she loved it x

A friend has just had a baby, and as everyone gives gifts for the baby I thought I would put something together for her. Like a little relax and pamper type idea. If you were to do this what would you put in it? Or, alternatively, what would you like to receive. I'm doing bubble bath.... and some planet spa face masks... all ideas welcome, and if I have it in my stash I can put it in ;) TIA

    I'd opt for

    * Pillow Mist
    * the matching sleeptherapy body wash/bubble bath
    * Dead Sea Minerals Body Exfoliator (with a body brush/exfoliating mitt if you have one)
    * and the Dead Sea Minerals Body Butter.

A good night's sleep is a godsend when you have a new baby plus the DSM range is lovely - I recommend it to all my customers, especially ones with sensitive skins or if they're prone to psoriasis or eczema.

    Lovely thought, well done! :T

Is this a good idea..... I find a lot of the Avon samples expensive. I was thinking of getting some travel size clear bottles from the Pound Shop, and creating my own for things like shampoo / conditioner / body wash and even body lotion. For regular customers to try things. Could possibly charge them a small fee that is refundable against any Avon order they make when they return the empty bottle (just so I get most of the bottles back or can replace them!) As a customer I would be happy to pay 20 - 30p for a decent size sample, especially if I would then get it back with an order, just wondering what you all think :A
Thanks for replies about New Mum gift too :D Possibly being thick, but not sure I understand the Nappy Cake concept :o How do you put it together?
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???

Hi is it quite common for ASM to be hard to get a response from? , I had some issues with my Territory being encroached by a Trainee sales leader and I also requested extra new territory at same time, I have sent the same email two weeks apart as no response and I am reaching the third week without any response. I do not have a contact number for her, to be fair my SL is great and helped with the trainee SL issue but feel should not have to keep bugging her about territory as I think it has to be sanctioned by ASM. Just starting to think ASM is a bit rude in not at least acknowledging my emails or am I just being old fashioned? I can think of no reason why I should not be offered more territory if available as I have achieved the HOV and more in every campaign so far and would have thought this would have been quite a consistent earner for them as my SL and ASM
Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:

Hi ladies, haven't been on here for a while but from first glance it seems very quiet on here... where have you all vanished too? :p

Tiggerlilly, I'm not sure what to suggest I'm afraid as I'm fairly happy with my ASM. She responds relatively quickly and if I do email her a second time due to lack of a response she is always very apologetic. I'm sure there'll be one of the more experienced ladies along shortly who'll be able to advise you.

Not sure if anyone can help me with my query regarding the free flip flops in C11. Is the sizing generous as I know with the fit flops they tend to come up big. My customer in question is a size 6.5 / 7 and I want to know if the 5 to 6 will be big enough or whether to go for the 7/8? Any thoughts???

Hope Avon is going well for you all.

    ttfn :)

Maybe you've got the same ASM as me - Mine's ignorant too!

Just order both and return the ones you don't want. Problem solved :D

Would deffo opt for the larger size; am a 6/6.5 and the 7/8 were too big for me but pretty sure the 5/6 would have been too small.

Might be worth it for the bubble baths if you can get the bottles cheap enough but can't see people doing it for shower gels if they can get them @ £1 anyway.

Good luck though and let us know how you get on. (Sorry, can't help re. the nappy cake; only one I've ever seen was on Sex and the City and that was a while ago!)
