This is a poem i've made to put in with my brochures when i start canvassing. I'm new to AVON and wanted to do something a bit different to stand out! Is it OK, or do you think it will be a waste of time?!

My ASM got in touch yesterday afternoon, she has been on sick leave so had not had chance to check my email to her. We are going out next Thursday around the area so she can train me up to be a SL. She was very pleased I had decided to become one as there isn't one in this area at all! Should be getting some brochures on Tuesday. Nice not having to get lots of brochures now I am just doing f&f for the next few months so just ordered 10 per campaign (incase people want to take a brochure home for their families to look at). Also already have my first would be rep to sign up at work, one of my work friends is saving for a wedding and loves Avon stuff so when I suggested she become a rep she was very excited!

:T I think it is very good, but would break it up as above, or similar as people are more likely to read 'bite size' chunks of information properly. I think there is a strong possibility your poem will make its way around the country! Well done you, and I hope people will have the manners to ask you before using your poem for themselves

Anyone else having trouble loading the avon site? :mad: :mad: they have re-charged me for returns that have gone back, and can't log in to check it against my copy of returns. Want to be able to see that before phoning the useless call centre

:wave: Anybody out there??!! Wow it's quiet here the last day or two. how are we all doing? Apart from banging my head against a brick wall with the call centre, all is good I think. Waiting for quite a large delivery on Monday and hoping C11 goes the same way.
I am thinking of getting gift vouchers printed, I want to have them done properly so as to avoid any counterfeiting issues, and so they look professional. I think they will be good for birthdays/ Xmas etc. Also gives an option to sell to men, who can buy them for wives / girlfriends and not 'get it wrong'! Interesting idea anyway See how it goes.

missminx the vouchers sound good!! I was thinking about doing some sort of loyalty scheme with my "few" customers, So they can build up goodies between now & christmas, But i have no clue where to start.

C10 was great for me & my first Avon round, I managed to sell Epilater's, hairdyes plus much more, However C11 has been a non starter with my customers. I think i have managed around £13 in sales, Plus a back order for C10.

I'm also having a issue with one of my biggest customers, She had a £10 order from C10. Her new partner had booked a secret holiday without her knowing until the last min. So she emailed me, asking if i could drop the order off with her daughter. So i get there Monday & her daughter said that she had run out of money over the weekend & spent the Avon money. But could i leave the order & her mum would square it with me when she was back.

I refused, Saying that i would come back when her mum was home. I have since emailed, Texted & knocked on the door, Today i get asked from the mum if i can hold the order until 1st of july, Because that's when she gets paid again! :eek:

It just drive's me mad, That she could have called me or even text back explaining what happened. Rather then letting me keep going.

We all know what kids are like! It probably cost her loads leaving her daughter at home If she is a good customer, let it slide this time, but be strict in future.
Loyalty schemes are a good idea. I thought if I had some £5 vouchers they could be a good loyalty reward as what costs the customer £5, doesn't cost us that, and they have to have earned the voucher in the first place. I will keep you updated!!

I make special arrangements with several of my loyal customers as they get paid on different days and sometimes at the end of the month.

They always pay up eventually and some have taken to dropping their orders through my door so saving me a fair amount of time on my round.

C10 has been great fun...lots of happy customers...all paid up...all before I had to pay Avon.

One customer pays me in installments as she orders a lot but not every campaign.

My experience is that if I look after my customers...they look after me

Just put in my C10 order and grrr I hate the new site! when checking through the order it said I had ordered 10 packs of C12s! maybe that is why I got C10s when I should have got C11s! spent a good half hour double checking everything.
