A customer wants to try a lipstick - they do a sample which I can order for her, or can I offer that she buys it & if she doesn't like the colour she can return it?
Dont do samples  they are quite a decent size and customer may not buy full sized. Try a selection of colours and return the unwanted ones. That will almost guarantee a sale :beer:Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'

Thanks - haven't yet seen any samples so didn't know how big they were.
Just to clarify - can she actually use the lipstick, then return if she doesn't like the colour?
Sorry if I'm being thick, but is so contrary to everybody elses returns policy :rotfl:Now proud Mumto3 :j0 -
So after my worrying about having no orders I have £200+ to put through tonight! Trying to limit what I buy for myself - I really want the vibrating mascara but I can't really justify £20 for that and the perfume. Will just go for hairdye I think! My Debt Free Diary

Could you justify it by reselling the perfume? Even at a discounted price so you would get something back. Or use it as a customer incentive eg all orders over £15 enter a prize draw to win it?0

None of my customers buy perfume unfortunately - I'll maybe wait 'till next campaign and see if I can justify it then. I overspent on my 'avon money' so had to pay some out of my bank acc unfortunately - won't be doing that again! My Debt Free Diary

Hi,
It takes a while for credits to show so I always recommend to my team that they do their own book-keeping i.e. keep a track on what they owe Avon and eventually Avon will catch up.
At the bottom of your home page does it say you have credits saved? If so, click on the link and it will tell you the value of your credits. If it's not showing there you'll have to work out the value yourself - it's your nett cost, not the brochure price.
Once you've saved all the items you want to claim credit for (and made a note of the value) you then need to 'Submit to Avon'. At the moment that will show as an 'order' in your 'Track my Order'.
Once you've submitted your credits to Avon, deduct your nett amount from your balance o/s and just pay Avon the balance.
Hope that helps. I've done some notes, which go into more detail but their based on the old website - similar but slightly different. If you'd like a copy, email me on avonchris@live.co.ukMake the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

i have the perfume but dont want the mascara! haha...mine is going on ebay ..... and im sure you will find plenty more on there for pennies in the coming weeks.. specially as lots of ppl have to been selling off the perfume cheap without the mascara so sure they'll be selling the mascaras to make up some the losses
(i still dont see how people can sell the perfume at £8.99 though.. cos after fees etc yor looking at about £7.75 profit and you'll never get £5.25 in profit for the mascara in the enivatible market saturation that always occurs with such offers on ebay - i couldnt sell the mascara, perfume and 5 purse sized samples for £16 just to break even because reps are undercutting so much they must all be making losses!)
edited to add..... just checked they are available at buy it now from £3 including p+P.... (not my listings) so if you really want one might be worth buying it on ebay!! lol0 -
