The only thing I can say is that you have to compare the prices between the 2 books, the previous one and the current one, and see which is the best offer for you.

ie in book A the moisturiser is only £3 in Book B it is £10. So you order from Book A and your customer has ordered from Book B and you make £7 profit.

    Shame on you, A, :rotfl:

Or, you could be a wuss like me and offer the better deal to your customers. They'll probably be gobsmacked but their loyalty is then guaranteed! :T

I have approximately 25 regular customers. They don't all order every time, and some only order £5 or stuff that I make bare minimum discount on. DS is getting too old to be dragged around territory, and lately not been well, and really not fair making him walk the streets dropping books and collecting them, etc.

We went out the other night in the rain, and it was pouring, and he got quite fed up.

he now has conjunctivitis, and his eye is closed, so he will not want to pound any streets.

Am going to stick with the customers I have, if I pick up new ones great, but am not going canvassing. Will just have to earn extra money via MS and surveys, etc.
  • Yes, not easy for you, A. Don't suppose OH/DH would help you by looking after DS whilst you go out? Family support makes it sooo much easier. Hope your DS gets better soon (and maybe when he starts at nursery/school you can then crack on and make full use of all that Avon knowledge).

Incidentally, have still been fire-fighting re. Manager Internet orders and seems I must've finally got through to someone worth their salt. Got a telephone call from 'a small unit' within Avon, who are very interested to gather details about such things so they can take it further. They did say that unless we provided details of reps' accounts no's and specific incidents then they couldn't do anything so if anyone would like the email address please PM me.

Well done MC. Wonder if it is the same info as Lozza.

If I get anymore I will let you know. As the last ones have been cancelled on my account, I can't see them, and one was one I placed by mistake, so wouldn't want to give the wrong info.

DH works 7 days a week most of the time, so am very limited. I work in an office 3 days, and now when I am off, DS doesn't want to wander around doing Avon. Plus I am one of the support network for my bereaved friend, so will be spending time with her too, when not working. Plus I do lots of other bits, netmums right hand chairmum, etc.

It doesn't matter anymore. Avon helped for a while when I was in a bind. Now it is just extra money to help pay some bills.

By the way before I recycle them. Does anyone want/need extra C2 and C3s?

According to the website Avon have run out of C3's so sure some reps are gagging for them. My own upliner has had to post some out to one of her team members today at a cost of over £8! How can Avon run out of books???

I know I found that strange. They must have them printed, but maybe they guesstimate how many are required and under estimated? Or their printer short supplied them?

maybe a helpful avon person in the know will let us know.
