Avon pays her the 12% and it's what you get when you get up the levels as you say
She and her husband put in a darned lot of hours and have done for a long time. She is also a kick bum networker and most of her time is spent supporting her reps and sales leaders... How do I now? Guess who my SL is?
Seriously look her up on FB under Gails AvonShe's a lovely lovely lady and more than happy to help people who are not part of her team too
She can also be found as a regular contributor on connects
I am soooo envious that you are part of Gails team, had I found out about her before I signed up I would have joined her team. She went to the same high school as me, before she moved to the coast, and somehow knowing that makes her achievements both fantastic and believable ....... Easy to disbelieve such high achievement! she is an inspiration.Life is a work in progress0 -

It was a friend of mine who also does Avon but FAR up north who showed me Gails pages - After a long chat I checked with my friend if she'd be really upset if I joined with Gail and not her as I knew from the start that I was aiming for SL-ship and she was fine with it. Gail also checked with her to make sure she didn't mind which I thought was nice of her
Anyway - she's coming here next week to go through all the SL stuffAnd reading about it you do think... "really? Oh it's just papers trying to sell stories..." but she really IS nice, and yes they really DO work very hard and they DO make very good money at this!

Yes I ordered the colourtrend set that was in the Christmas books, sold the mascara & eyeshadow separately and returned the eyeliner and the purple bag! Hurrah! Have noticed this a bit - in fact now when I'm doing my returns I keep an eye out for stuff which is priced as one but split down for returns.0 -

The only thing I can say is that you have to compare the prices between the 2 books, the previous one and the current one, and see which is the best offer for you.
ie in book A the moisturiser is only £3 in Book B it is £10. So you order from Book A and your customer has ordered from Book B and you make £7 profit.
If you can remember what the offers were in the previous book, ie buy 5 for £5 that might help, but I just sit and compare all products in both books and take it from there.0 -
As A says, it's just a case of checking price/offer in the other brochure. You'll find it easier and quicker in time. I use post it notes to jot down if something is cheaper in the other book, stick it onto the order form. Then I can sit and check all orders together one day, and input them at another time.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

I started a Blog on Avon Connects a short while ago ('Confused') and IF I ever find my way round then it's occurred to me that it could prove useful to post a few specific tips on Creative Ordering.... Of course I can only do it for the campaigns I'm currently on but, suppose, it would be useful for anyone following on behind. (Am Mailplan D.)
Will work on it and 'report back'...:rotfl:Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Snap! Couldn't believe they priced that tacky purple bag @ £1.38 (or something similar) :eek:Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Great minds think alike and all that. It also helps to print out your order before you submit it because sometimes you can then spot other creative ordering opportunities.
Buy 2 Get 1 free orders are particularly difficult being that irrespective of what your customers may have ordered, when you consolidate your orders Avon may invoice you differently. Have had a couple of customer orders this time where they've mispriced their orders i.e. 'accidentally' priced their orders at the lower priced item when they get the 2nd one at a give-away rate i.e. Order 1 Get the 2nd for £2 etc. (Avon will, of course, always charge the most expensive item at full price and the cheaper item at the reduced offer price.)
Can't stress too much how important it is to double-check your orders/invoiced prices before you press that Submit button.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)
