Hiya ladies.
I joined Avon on Monday. So far everything my end seems to be moving really fast, However I have already found a problem with my SL.
She has given me 106 house’s 20 books no bags & damaged order forms.
I’m now being told that I need to drop 20 books, give each customer 1 day to look and collect, Repeating until I have done ALL 106 house’s.
I don’t mind, But I’m a little worried that with the weather if someone leaves their book out, That’s 1 down so to speak.
I was told I cant do anything now until I get a rep number so I can order extras online.
So that’s my moan over! I’m really looking forward to working with avon. C10 I think going to be a hit JFuture goals:
Become debt free.
Beat Depression.
Be happy & healthy0 -

Hi, you don't normally get given bags. You can use sandwich / freezer bags temporarily though. Have a look in a poundshop near you or on ebay. There are links on page 1 of this thread, I believe, for buying bags elsewhere. Have a good read through this thread and the previous one, and you will learn lots of hints and tips as to how everyone makes avon suit them and increase money making opportunitiesStill looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -
Just picked up my first batch of catalogues. Gave out 40, got 20 back, 2 with orders (£40 total), 2 people asked to keep it a few days longer.
Looks like I've got some evening door knocking to do so I can get my catalogues back:(.
On the plus side, I've prepped the remaining books in less than 20 mins to go out again. Just time before pre-school pickup to get them through the doors. Now proud Mumto3 :j0 -

I also only just started and had to go door knocking to get some of the brochures back, in my area I found going just after 6pm I caught most people in, and they were all very pleasant about me knocking. Also most stated they would be happy for me to put the next brochure through their door, I was quite scared but it really was not that bad. My SL gave me a tip I will share and it is, once you ring bell or knock the door stand back a step or two from the door as it stops people feeling pressured when they open the door, I have to say it worked a treat.Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:0 -
Could we add in to the useful info on the front page that invoices don't remain available on your account indefinitely and how to save them in case something happens to your original? May be helpful for newbies. Avon apparently don't keep any records and cannot provide copies... odd really as they are required to keep invoices by law for the revenue.... same as we need to....Still looking for the plot...... that's funny! just reading the FAQ on the new site and it says they can't tell you what you have earnt because you will buy books, demo, etc, but they can provide you copies of your invoices and you can work it out from there!
Have decided to resign as Avon rep, not making enough money to justify spending the time on it. and have lost the momentum for it. DS is getting to old to drag around the territory, etc.
so will sell off old stock and anything else I have. And have a few more hours to myself0 -

Oh that's handy... will look for that and copy and paste it to them. See what they say then!
I thought you had been quiet recently. Think it's a bit of a disheartening time at the moment, I have to admit to having been researching an alternative. I enjoy doing it, but it feels like you're fighting avon in order to earn them money! They should treat us better than they do. Are you going to do f&f to keep your discounts, HT etc? you can always earn a bit then with little effort.Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -

no, as neighbour has to take my delivery for me, and goodwill only lasts so long, and to be honest, F&F are more hassle for me then my customers!
It was good while it lasted, and those that do well with it, it is worth doing it
I need to start earning a lot more money and am looking at alternatives to increase my income, sadly avon is not it.
PM me what you are researching please.0 -
Well... I would copy and paste it if I could find it! Where did you see that A?? Feeling dopey now, coz I can't find it!
**found it!**

Someone has listed fit flops on ebay... the picture? the one from the book with a huge £15 price tag next to it... might be why they have no bids. Why show the price when you are not dramatically under cutting it? If I saw that I would probably go straight to the avon website, and get my nectar points as well.Still looking for the plot......
