I didn't get enough of them to go with my booksand the things people have ordered from it are mostly showing as red crosses so OOS  It's unfair really, the trendsetters customers are always going to get the advantage. I don't see why they couldn't send the clearance brochure out to us in an earlier campaign sometimes, give our customers a chance.
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -

-

How to choose a Sales Leader?
I've been considering joining Avon, and have a meeting coming up shortly with a Sales Leader. Should I contact different ones too? How do you know if you have a 'good' one. I'm sure they will all be very charming and the bad ones will be difficult to spot until it's too late.
Obviously if I take an instant dislike to the person I won't be signing up with them! Is it just gut instinct do you think?0 -
Hi all, quick question and help please....
I have to go out in about an hour to collect a book - what's bothering me is that I have tried already about 5 times to collect this book, three times knocking/leafleting and then twice I got her in and she has asked for more time to look at the book each time.
I am sure when I go back again, she will ask for more time - what would you say?
I really am not keen to keep going back all the time and it's getting a touch weird too (just feels that way).... I am inclined to say "no, I need it back" but how to phrase it etc....BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -
I'd let the book go. I'd call back one more time but say 'Well my order goes in on X date, so if you want anything can you ring/text/email before then' and see what happens.0

I'm pleased with how my 4th camp has gone, hit HOV again. Today went to collect in some books, one came back with no bag the woman said "oh my daughter used it" I mean what the heck for? do they not have bags in their house? no biggie just thought it was odd. And a lady who said her friend wanted to look in the book and had it for over a week and the friend never ordered didn't answer her door when I knocked and was blatently in! What is laughable is that she said she used to be a rep!!Squirrelling away in September No 33It's not about the money, it's about financial freedom, being in control of it and living in the natural world and not a material world0

I got it back but I had to hang around on the doorstep whilst she tried to remember what she wanted lol! She had put little black marks in the book against the things she wanted but hadn't written the order form, left that for me to do! I think I would have been there longer if I hadn't had the kids waiting in the car.
So I have just spent 15 mins searching through the book and writing out the order form now that I am home.... I have text the order to her so she knows what it is and how much...
She is quite nice but I think it will be the same story each timeBSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -
I'd speak with them on the phone before meeting them, ask them lots of questions and see what their answers are. Ask what you'll get provided with by them. If they seem honest and open, and If they give extras then go with them!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0
