I had a quick peek through all the pages I have missed. Hello to all newbies
Just a quick question - Has anyone registered to go to Birmingham for the World Tour thingy???
I have too. Not going to pass up a free chance to see Olly MursEveryone loves a bargain :beer:0 -
Me again!!
In HT 7, am I right in thinking you can only buy 1 demo per Anew beauty regime? I assume that in C7 brochure customers can buy these regimes at £10 and so do they get a £10 voucher to use off against a beauty product they've sampled is that correct??
Is there anyone on this forum on C7 and if yes have you sold many to people who may not have brought Anew previously. The reason I ask is that I only have 2 customers who purchase Anew creams at the moment and would like to increase this.
I'm curious as to whether it would be worth investing in a few of the demos.
thanks in advance ladies.0 -

Maybe some sample sachets could be a cheaper alternative? That way you can let customers choose some samples to try. Safer than assuming, as they are age specific  could be awkward!
Samples are popular with my existing Anew customers when they want to try a different product in the range.Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -
Thanks for your replies about the MMs. As long as I can get back what I paid for them (both the ones I've demo-ed and any ones returned by customers) then I'm happy. The chances of a customer returning one would be slim - mine hardly return anything.
The only problem with samples is that they're so fiddly - and that's sat at home not on the doorstep juggling other things.Plus I'd like people to see the bottles, see what they're going to get.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Hey ladies, how are you all? Just to let you know... If you have lots of avon smart start freebies hanging around, (as in demo bags etc) that you really havent got a use for, its DEFFINATELY worth putting on said well know auction site... Ive sold my demo bag with approx 25 samples for £18.50 (inc postage) and my flexi folder with a selection of stationary (brochure bags, order forms, paper bags, 2 fullsized products(that i got v cheap) calling cards, returns book, calling book) for £21.50 inc postage!! Okay there were some fees involved too but £40 for that little lot that i have no use for any more... FAB!!!0

ive sent a mm back before unopened... having said that they messed up the whole return. I got recharged £75 the other day for stuff i had already sent back!!0

Thanks missminx, that might be an idea, although I'll certainly be ordering one in my own age group to demonstrate to my customers and to use myself0

MarsdenCuckoo wrote: »Only guessing but.... if you became a rep then you could offer your books along with your other goodies and strictly speaking you could use your stall as a point of contact for your customers i.e. to take a book and bring their order back. IF, at the same time, you had 'a bargain box' of items to incentivise your customers then that should be OK - yes/no/perhaps? As ever, the longer I do Avon, the more I realise that rules are bendable....
Just don't go placing an ad in your local paper! :rotfl:
I have seen Avon items at a Car Boot Sale, when I questioned the seller she said ' I am no longer a rep and a have a large stock to get rid of'. Fair comment, having done Avon for 30 years, I also have a large stock.
The only problem I can see with 'taking orders' is that you don't know these people, may never see them again and could be left with a lot of returns. Sorry to be so negative, but have seen so many things over the years and so many people give up over the returns issues.MSE Addiction, should come with a health warning:money:0
