I had a nice little suprise yesterday evening, just when i was about to dish my dinner up, someone put an avon brochure through the door, the other half had thought someone was been cheeky and trying to canvass our street! Turns out it was a neighbour putting an order in for £60 odd quid! I'm well chuffed!0

Question about MoneyMakers - I wanted to try it out for the first time, buying a few each of the Reese Witherspoon Laugh and Live fragrances. I was going to use one of each as a demo, with the plan that I could return the opened demos along with any unsold, unopened ones. The opened ones would be ones returned by "customers"
. I'm only going to be offering people a spray at the door so I won't use much of the bottle (unlike the Up to You that's more than half-empty after spraying hundreds of books).
However, it says you can't return unopened MMs. So even if the 2 bottles I'm going to demo had genuinely been bought by customers and they weren't happy, I wouldn't be able to get my money back?
Hope I've misunderstood this, as I'd like to be able to give the MM a go risk-free. My alternative is to buy the more expensive demos (one each), and then stock up on the MM offer on the next page in HT. Then I can still return the official demo versions that have been used.
EDIT: Another question already! - how long do I have to try and sell the MMs? I'm in C5. I don't mind being invoiced for them in C6, as long as I know when the cut-off point is for returning them.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

If I had more time, I would look this up for you... but I thought that MM came with free samples?? If not the samples are only 30p for those in HT7 so for 60p you could have 5 tester bottles of each. Would that be easier than opeing a whole bottle? I personally wish avon did tester vials with a spray nozzle on, it would be far easier.
Good point about opened MMs. Hadn't thought about that
As for returns, it is normally 90 days from receipt as you are invoiced the same time so can't be sure and will have to wait for someone to come along with the answer!!:rotfl:
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -
I'm sure the refunds policy for MM's mean that unopened ones will be liable for FULL invoiced amount rather then commission cost removed. As opened refund will mean you get less back then what you paid for? (If I'm wrong pls let me know)0

Not quite sure I follow what you mean! Am not feeling well, and too tired to think!! You are invoiced the set cost in HT, if you return them then that charge is removed. commission you earn is on top of that and none of that goes to Avon. so you would get back what you paid.
the difference in cost applies when a customer returns an item to you, asyou only get back from Avon what you apid them, and thus lose your commission.
Hope that makes sense, am confused today

I have sent opened mm back without a problem. Just used the fragrance/colour etc not as in book code. You get the mm price credit for it.0

I dont think i followed what i ment either pmsl. I'm feeling really tired, Basically what the other poster said, if they were returned under the "normal" brochure code then they can be returned as a customer order. Not quite sure I follow what you mean!
