Will read through the rest of your meal plans tomorrow as I didn't realise how late it was! Trying to be organised for 2011, so here goes:

    Mon Prawn Yakisoba (DH cooking)
    Tue Meatballs & Spaghetti
Wed Roast Beef (leftover from this evening)
Thu Pasta Carbonara & Garlic Bread
Fri Chicken in Mushroom Sauce & Rice
Sat Spinach & Ricotta Pizza with Curly Fries (whoopsied and lurking in freezer)
    Sun Sausages & Mash

Plan to make soup for lunches - Potato & Leek, Pea & Ham. Was going to try some baking too, but we have lots of shortbread and cake type things from festive season, so will leave it for now!

Guys I really want to get into the habit of cooking at home and eating healthily. Which websites/cookbooks would you recommend for inspiration?

I really want to do lasagne, tarts, pies etc. Which pastries dough would be best.

Very sorry if this us the wrong place to ask. I did a search for recipes and it came up with this one!

    Thanks. x

p.s. Pen peng- do you have the recipe for Sunday - spinach and feta tart?

Organisation is the key for this year:
Meal planning for this week is
Monday: Mince round, peas and mashed potatoes
    Tuesday: Macaroni Cheese, broccolli
Wednesday : Sausage casserole, mashed tatties
Thursday : Fish Pie, peas, sweetcorn
    Friday: Stew, carrots, tatties, cabbage
Saturday : Roast Chicken, Roast potatoes, with either salad - depending whats left or a mixture of veg.
Sandwich fillings for the week : gammon, corned beef, salad, cheese, tuna, tinned salmon, egg mayo.
We dont go back to work til the 4th, so lunch will be HM soup instead of sandwiches.
Baking will need to be done as everyone is fed up of eating christmas cake!!!!
    Every days a School day!
