Payday for DH tomorrow so getting ready to make the big overpayments. Been out for a free walk with DH round a local lake this morning and tried to talk about money but it just seems to be of no interest to him however he has calmed down on the big spending plus mentioned again about giving up cigarettes. I wont get too excited until he actually does something about it, i have even thought about joining the gym and getting him to come along it would be much cheaper than him smoking could save us £150 a month .
We are going away next weekend so need to spend as little as possible this week to make up for the spending while we are away. Friends that we are going with owe me for the hotel room which I have booked so that should make up for some of the spends.MARCH 2016 DEBT £25750/ £25035

Hi herwego
Just been reading your diary after you have been so kind to post on mine, I really like the fact that you set quite specific goals, really challenging ones too. I think this is something that i might do, i really need a focus to keep me motivated and something that will really push me. so going to mull it over and then come up with a list tomorrow, I am off for the day so will get cracking with it.
Many thanks, your diary is really inspiring, hope you enjoyed Gypsy Weddings, have a good night Dolly x :wave:Sealed Pot Challenge #1247 = £111.41/£5002011 Made on ebay to date £368.31 (exc P&P)Freebies £15 Amazon VoucherDFW Nerd * 1366, DFD September 2013 :jThe large print giveth, but the small print taketh awayTom Waits, Small Change :mad:0 -
£10 sent to lloyds :j
Sat and had a look at spreadsheets last night and if we reduce our overpayments so we can have a bit of a life my new DFD will be June 2012. I dont want to change my signature as I am going to continue everything I have been doing in the hope that we will still make it, whats another 6 months when a year ago it out of control.
I got a letter yesterday from the financial ombudsman saying they have told Santander to revise the offer to settle my complaint regarding charges so could be a few pennies coming my way.
Moneywise everything is looking ok, hope we dont spend too much this weekend.
I have some £2 coins to take to the bank must try and do that this week and get it paid off lloyds.
Looking forward to getting my statements this month so I can see what im getting charged on the cards which I have made transfers on, then I will know which one to tackle first.
Have a great day xMARCH 2016 DEBT £25750/ £25035

Small blip today, popped into town to get a swimming costume for the weekend and came home with a dress  oh and a bag and a jumper but that was a bargain £2. Not a big spend all for under £30 but couldnt find a swimming costume and time is running out.
