Tonight is payday Eve and it feels like its been forever coming, all spreadsheets are updated ready for tomorrow.
The initial payments will be made although they are slightly lower than I planned but we have a weekend away planned in February and I dont want to run out of cash again. I am moving some money into savings and if it doesnt get spent then I will transfer this during February.
The new debt figure will be £31930 showing us paying of 36% of the debt.
Not as great as I thought but I will try and get this down to £31500 by the end on February, I have learnt in the last year you do still have to live a little. :cool:MARCH 2016 DEBT £25750/ £25035

Great news about the savings, new debt figure and of course pay day!
Living a little is what keeps you sane and whilst there will be some users on here who will say that EVERY penny should go towards debt, living a little is what has kept me out of debt as I haven't a need to splurge or be silly when things get a little tough.
Keep up the great work!!Light Bulb 13/09/09: £15,061.37 Debts at their highest:

I know that you say DH won't give up smoking, but would he consider rollies instead to save some money?
I'm bad and I smoke but smoking only costs me around £25 a month because of smoking rollies.Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -
in theory every penny should go towards debt..... but life still has to be lived but perhaps not as extravagant & monetarily reckless as many of us used to live it ..... debt-busting is not easy at all & my view is that there has to be some sort of reward for working... our reward is the annual holiday... but it's each to their own really....Jan 2010 £39,300 Now £29,630 Reduction £9,670 (24.6%)
