Dont know where that offer has come from? Maildrop??.. as mentioned its more expensive than the online offer.

Looks like the current "3 months half price" has been extended for new customers online till 30th November. What a surprise!!
  • Apparently it is not advertised, it is something they do to keep u with them. A lot of people know this so it must be done a lot.

    You need this thread folks:http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=115125In

In order to get money off you need to get put through to cancellations and say you want to cancel. Be polite, insist you are cancelling to cut costs (and don't let them talk you into cutting channel packages as this is not genuine savings) and you should get an offer. The latest deals are usually in the thread above.

I am currently enjoying 6 months half price full package. Before that i had 2 months sports mix at 66p per month (World Cup special) and prior to that 3 months at half price. You can also get discounted repairs and sky+ installation by going down the 'i want to cancel route'. Again read the above thread.
Fortune's always hiding, I've looked everywhere......
  • I have just come across a better offer for Sky on the cdwow site. 50% of Sky for 4 months and a £35 cdwow voucher. Offer ends 30th November 2006. New customers only though.

This came through my door in a leaflet, it says to call 08702 709 012, it's also advertised in this months sky mag. It's really for new customers only so probably only worth it if you don't have sky or freeview at the moment as you can probably keep the equipment at the end of six months.

They are advertising it as buy someone sky for Christmas.

It was on a leaflet in our sky mag too. They apparently send a 'stylish gift box with a personalised gift tag' although postage is an extra £2.50 - ring 08700 400 406 (but of course all mse'ers will use the freephone number) - minimum subscription is 6 months
;) If you think you are too small to make a difference, try getting in bed with a mosquito!

Sky are offering a Christmas pressie package of 6 months sky for £75.00. (choose two packages)

This includes installation of the dish and a box, I would assume after the six months you keep the equipment and can switch to freeview.

This would be ideal for anyone who would need to upgrade their ariel to obtain freeview.

This will be a 12 month contract so the remaining 6 months you will need to be on a Sky package , min is £15 i think

No it's a 6 Months contract But the recipient does need a credit/debit card and has too be a new customer.

This package would be great for anyone wanting 'Freeview' Satellite normally it's about £120 but you can buy this package get 6 months free Sky TV and then cancel it to use the box as a Freeview satellite box (Of cause sky won't advertise it this but then sky Don't advertise 'Freeview Satellite).
  • I currently have freeview, but my reception is erratic. If I sign up for this offer with Sky will I get all the channels I currently get on Freeview, and what package do I have to choose. At the end of the 3 month offer would I get to keep the digital box and then not pay any more in order to still receive the freeview channels.

    Many thanks
