Morrison, Asda and Somerfield are pretty awful - slow service and generally grubby looking shops.

I won't use any of them - but all the shops were chaos in the week leading up to Xmas, and I don't really blame staff or cutomers for all getting ratty with each other.

    Lin :)
You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)

So you don't see that customers can be in the wrong too.

i rest my case ! I was apologising if anyone thought I was being an a***h*le , but giving you the chance to see if what I was saying, if you agreed, partially agreed or disagreed with the points raised.

You seem to want to disagree with anyone else, who brings up fair points, for the sake of it.

I gave the benefit of doubt, to see if you were actually a troll, which was confirmed by another poster, but now see that they were correct. That you are purposely confrontational and tend to disagree with certain people's posts in the most abrupt manner.

I wish to leave it there, so will be ignoring posts from you in future. I do not go around here giving flippant remarks, like some do. I give my honest opinion on matters and advice where needed. It shows by the amount of thankyou's I have had, over the amount of posts I have placed, in the year I have been a member. Compared to you , who seems flit in and out, making dispariging remarks , over 35 posts, in which you have been thanked 8 times.

    Lastly your comment

Having such a chip on a shoulder tends to hinder people from seeing both sides and causes them to lean to one side all the time.

Definately, pot calling kettle black !

Yet again, you make things up about what I have written. Your strawman approach to debating is a very low grade effort in attempting to bait others into pointless arguments. I am glad you will ignore me in the future, as I have no more desire to engage with you than I do have with a snake with a toothache. I am extremely disappointed with myself that I have allowed you to bring out the baser, more combative side in me, but from what I have seen of your contributions to this forum, it is a wonder it doesn't happen more often. Instead of relating to the various points made, you are more intent on arguing personalities and made up conclusions. You berate others for having an opinion and when you have clearly lost an argument, you make unfounded judgements about others, when they disagree with you and you aim to belittle them by insulting their opinions and thoughts.
The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark

This is still going on? And all because one person who may or may not have been working at the time or on the shop floor said, "dunno?"

It's not even rude, it's an honest statement >_<.

I find that if you go into Morrisons with low expectations, you're far less likely to be dissapointed.
  • You ask, "Am I Making A Fuss About Nothing? Opinions Please."

Yes you are. And I bet it's not the first time.

I do not believe that for a second,

I am not interested in what you believe or don't. I was the one in the checkout queue waiting - the OP told us about her experience at a Wm Morrisons Supermarket. I told the OP about mine.
  • I work in retail and if I had a penny for everytime a customer was rude to me - or spits, coughs in my face, burps in my face, rolls their eyes at me, threatens me or pick their nails with their credit card whilst I am serving - OR continues to talk on their mobiles - I would be such a rich woman. I understand however how you must have felt being spoken to like that for whatever reason. I would have been cross as we do have huge expectations of staff in shops (John Lewis is king with regard to customer service and I work for the opposition!!) and dont forget I am a customer too. There is a general malaise all over though - noone gives a dam anymore and it shows. No pride, no respect and no care.

BUT, I would try and get over it and learn from it so that when it happens again just shrug your shoulders and walk away - as your input is not going to make the slightest difference - and thats for definite!!!!!! And noone on this forum is going to change that by bickering either.......
