Crazy 2011 clothes challenge

Hi all, not been doing well on my Freedom days, feeling a bit 'off' lately and not been caring about what I'm wearing. Look presentable but kindof back to my wallflower ways.
I have purchases to declare although not sure if brave enough to wear them so they might be returned. Bought a leopard print pleated skirt and black harem-type trousers in the sale in Topshop, so £25 to declare so £53 spent in total and £187 left.
I am definitely going to be making a purchase of leather Uggs when I'm debt free but I am not counting them as this will be my longed for debt-free pressie to myself. Is this cheating? I hope not.0 -
Hello everyone  another newbie (lurker) to hopefully join in your challenge
I have been secretly doing this since 1/1/11 when I set myself a £100 goal for the whole year, and by midnight had spent £40!!
I need absolutely nothing (well, apart from linen trousers for the summer!) and my wardrobes are groaning at the hinges:rotfl:
So I would love to join in the trials and tribulations and achieve my goal of not buying clothes unnecessarily...
hiya madwife
hope you keep to your target

I don't think debt-free purchases are cheating.
It's a planned purchase, not an impulse buy.
Go for it with a clear conscience!:T:A0 -
Hi everyone
I've spent £17 so far this year - I bought a maxi dress from Boden but luckily I had £35 credit for something I returned last year and a £15 voucher so the dress only cost £17. :jCC debt: £0/£9 0000 -

Hello & Welcome to our newcomers :
MiaowMiaow, BrownGun86, misselvis & madwife28 :hello:
Great to have you all with us & yay for swelling our select group to just over 100 members :j ( I knew I wasnt being over optimistic with the '0' in front of all the numbers
Big hugs for you Miaowmiaow - you'll get there lovely, just take it one day at a time.
Rosa - love that dress but I know exactly what you mean about it wearing you, although the colours are great, I dont think I'd quite have the sass to carry it off without looking very self conscious.
HAPPY NEW CLOTHESto all who have them, & well done on those bargains.
Well, I have to confess to yet more spends :shhh: but all on ebay so not only eco-friendly but earning me cashback via quidco too. I have a rather fab looking purple suede belt & am waiting for a dress to arrive. the gorgeous skyscraper wedge red sandals have arrived & they are just sublime. I can now think very seriously about selling my previous torturous pair.
My total is now £70.65 which is ok, I'm taking DD shopping tomorrow so there will be more purchases to declare, but hopefully just for her ... unless I find that elusive perfect purple cardi I'm after.
Today's warmth & sunshine has scared me into making efforts to shed the inches ... strict new healthy eating plan begins tomorrow. I cannot hide in my black trousers for much longer.

Evenig ladies!
Well im afraid I must declare £24 - I purchased two of those great Bodyshop vouchers. I absoloutly love Bodyshop makeup/brushes and I treated myself to some lovely makeup last year so I fancy re-freshing my collection with them. So I will get £60 for £24 - I have fallen in love with a couple of eyepallets and lippy pallets alreadyif I have got enough money in the vouchers, I would like to re-buy the bronzer I brought last week and return it using the receipt from last week unopened, so therefore credit £16 - so vouchers cost £8 - wonder if that'd work?
I have booked a last minute Holiday - departing in just a few weeks. I have been feeling a little down recently so decided to spoil myself to a week in the sun and far too many all inclusive gin and tonics
This however has led me to a problem. Although I have some sun clothes, I dont have enough. So I will be having to have a little splurge in the clothes department throughout March ready. However, I have approx £16 left from this month which will provide a tulip peter pan top i loveSo I dare say my spends in March will be a little scary on the old eyes..
Going to do a 'stock-take' before I plan - very carefully - what to buy and what to forgetnot allowing myself to go over my £90 in a month.
Got to figure out how to pack my life for a week in 20kgs :S
got to be careful at airport this time though as always very tempted by accessorize in duty free!!0 -

I bought my Uggs nearly 3yrs ago when I was in the States so I was lucky I got a good exchange rate - did wonder if I was pandering to fashion with an expensive spend but I am soooo glad I bought them. Have worn them lots (though they are bl**dy useless in the wet :rotfl:) and they have worn really well too.
Are the ones you're planning to buy the normal sheepskin ones or are they different (when you refer to leather?)Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
