grande problema
My bronzer has brokenmy £16 - brought some a glitch on bodyshop and cost about £5 in reality bronzer, I havnt taken it out my bag since a night out last saturday, and I suspect it was troden on
I tried putting some on tonight and I ended up wearing it all in the wrong places... clothes mainly.
So I shall be having to spend £16 of my challange money on bronzerdamn knew I shouldnt have took it out last week, but then again its lasted ALMOST a year, so not sooo bad. And why I didnt notice this a week ago when I had a no7 voucher which I never used in the end cos couldnt justify it!

Hi everyone, no spends to report (feel almost saintly) but I do have a new job that requires me to wear different stuff to my last job.
The dress code is black, grey or white office attire. I have a grand total of 1 pair of suitable trousers and 2 suitable blouses. I think I'm going to allocate £150 to spend on work stuff but I don't know how to spend it, any ideas anyone? I'll be working for a big chain of opticians.
I would start by buying enough bits to wear for a week - prob another pair of trousers and another couple of tops/blouses - make sure they are all interchangeable (perhaps wear/take your current attire with you when you go shopping). Then once you're settled into your new job/wardrobe invest in some additional suitable pieces. I would also suggest (though up to you) that you 'invest' in some quality items that will wash/wear well, otherwise you'll constantly find you have nothing to wear due to constantly trying to replace things.
Well done on the new job btw! :TFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Congratulations on your new job!
Perhaps get another pair of trousers or a skirt, a jacket or cardigan, and spend the rest on tops - unless you also need to invest in a good pair of shoes. I would aim for quality trousers, jacket and shoes, mixed with cheap tops, and possibly some accessories
If you google "work capsule wardrobe" you may find some tips on how to build a nice little set of clothes that work well together.0 -

As a 'bronzer queen' and former Chanel wearerI highly recommend Rimmel Sunshimmer - just as good as the Chanel and about a fiver I think
Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
So if I attempt the skirt wearing can I still wear flats? I genuinely can't walk in heels at all lol.0

Lots of people wear skirts with flats - just be careful with the skirt length to avoid looking frumpySometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0

Absolutely
and what is with this awful new mid calf length skirt frumpy mum look ?
It's appalling & I shall not be partaking.
I have over £200 in my virtual basket at Joe Browns ... lets just hope it all stays there0 -
Well I took that not quite right mac back to Matalano, so still have only spent £28 out of my £240.
Wore a green top hadn't worn in ages on Friday with jeans, navy cardi and tan brogues so my Freedom week was still on track, also if it counts, I wore my gym gear today for the first time in almost a month, ha.
Also managed to ruin my tan brogues though, was at a first aid course and all the kneeling down, getting back up I managed to scuff the front of them. They were £20 New Look ones which means they're not leather. Have got tan boot polish but not sure it'll work. Another reason (once I'm debt free), to replace items with good quality stuff instead of always buying cheap.0
