Welcome pigpen - i wouldve loved a housefull of children, but must admit, i am happy with the 2 i have!!!!!

Queenie - wasnt here last year, but im glad that you are ok and celebrating getting over a bad patch!!!! I will have a nice red wine to celebrate!!!!

Churchmouse - glad you had a lovely holiday!!!

Well, had a busy day today, have managed to do loads of cleaning (didnt realise i had let it slide so much!!!!!) played with the little ones and had a man around to look at the DW!!!! Unfortunatly, he couldnt fix it, but is ordering a part, so hopefully it wont take long to come, as i HATE washing dishes. Ive only had it 10 days so it is under warrenty, but a bit mad its gone wrong already.
Still have 2 older ones here, but they are due to go any time, and im keeping to the storcuboard challenge, and we are using up odds and ends from the freezer for dinner (DD haveing stew, DS and me code in parsley sauce, yellowed stickered, cos i normally make my own!!!)
Right, theres the door, have a lovely evening everyone,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Confused but delighted for you Queenie.:A

DDs and DH loved the quiche and home made bread and I am on the computer at the library so I can get on to the site for an hour.

Have just set up the huge ironing station and need to iron DDs uniform for tomorrow when I get home.

Nice to have an ironing board that feels stable and not as if it is about to collapse on my tootsies! lol;)

    Afternoon all,

Queenie - good to hear you so upbeat, after you've been sounding blue for the past few days :j .

Well, I've been working today, but also managed to tackle the paperwork mountain that was on my "home office" desk :).

Been looking for competitive house insurance quotes, as our insurance has gone up again (£23), but I have a feeling it's likely to be remaining with these insurers. However, I see I can get rpoints for renewing via them (2000pts), is any other cashback site better ?

Right, time to tie up a few loose ends and then on to thread the serger, ready for wheat bag assembly, LOL.

  • Hi guys.
We went away in our caravan for the weekend to a firework rally. It was great. Me and OH got on really well and the kids DD3 and friend got on really well, the dogs got on really well and we all had a good time. Well actually me and OH niggled at each other while setting up, but other than that, the kids squabbled most of the the time, but other than that, and the dogs were so cold they howled to come in bed with us, but other than that.

The weather certainly is chilly down here in the South West.

I did my first mystery shop and it went fine. Just need to get some more now. I have waited from July to get this one!!!!

Hope you are all staying indoors in the warm. Hugs to all

    Louise

Finally booked a disco 4 DD birthday party. Can relax for a bit now. Just got to organise party bags etc - any ideas for party bag fillers? would Gratefully be received. Dont want to go over board with cheap n tacky toys or sweets (think the kids will hyper enough without adding more sugar)
