  • Morning Guys!

Slept well last night, but in alot of pain this morning:rolleyes:
New DW arrived at 06.45 this morning:eek: ...there is a small dent to the side (which wont be seen) but I will call them in a bit and ask for some discount:D I got it at a bargain price and is AAA efficient;) ...plus have someone from Freecycle coming between 9-10 this morning to colect my old one.....nice one!

DD is running around like a headless chicken this morning as she didnt get her bag ready last night and thinks she left her hockey kit round her mates:confused: ...I did ask her last night to do it all, but oh no...she knows better:D She will learn eventually that me being older than her, I DO know a little bit more than she does...although she cant see it today:p She is leaving in 7.35-so 10 minutes...so we will see if she gets it all together?

WM is on and new DW will be put on once OH drops DD off, as he has to plug it all in and get old one out. Toilet has been cleaned. Beds have been made. Will have another white wash to do after this one finishes.

Today I am at the hospital...again! Should be back from there about 10.30 then I really need to read through some of my course and rest up abit. Im so tired and body in alot of pain. Somehow I have bruised up my spine:confused: ...and I didnt drink at the wedding..lol.

    Breakfast: Bacon Butty
Lunch: Baked Spuds, Ham and Salad
Dinner: Chicken, Roasties, Yorkies, Parsnips, beans, cauli & carrots

    Be back later. Hugs.

    Good morning everyone,

Really bad night last night, so feeling really tierd this morning. Have 2 little ones here, and i was going to take them down to the park, but its really misty outside, and the park is near the waterfront, so not sure if we will do that now.
Something i do need to do is the dusting, ive been a bit lax about it recently so really want to knuckle down and get it done. I also need to phone about my new dishwasher, only had it just over a week, and its not working!!!! I was not impressed yesterday with all my roast dishes, mind you, they are still in it, so will have to take them out in a minute and hand wash them!!!!
Right, first little one is due here any minute, so better get off, hope everyone has a lovely day,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

PS Has anyone seen Churchmouse or Nikki recently????

    Morning All:hello:

haven't been around the daily thread for a couple of weeks:o so am a bit out of touch with everyones doings, but hope you are all OK:beer:

Well, I am having a major clear out of my freezer prior to re-filling it for Xmas, got so many tupperware boxes full of casserole etc so dinners are going to be a bit pot luck this week (typically all the lables have fallen off:rolleyes:) & I even feel dissapointed that I won't be doing any "real" cooking!:p Mayeb start making biscuits etc for Xmas to keep me going?!

Got a pile opf laundry the size of a european food mountain so better crack on with it, although drying it is rather a problem at the mo:wall:

Off later to post a ebay parcel & if my new freeview box which I bought from ebay 3 weeks ago still doesn't turn up this morning I'll be starting a dispute about that:mad: Need to go to the cash point, got the chimney sweep comming tomorrow, can you believe they charge £50 now??!!

    Have a good day everyone:wave:

    Morning

It's super cold again here. Just got a nice hot cuppa to keep me going. It was so nice to have a day off yesterday, it was my first in 2 weeks.

Went a bit mad on the Xmas decorations with Mum, we've bought LOADS, but they'll last forever. Also got a couple more pressies. Total spend in now around £272 mark. Still got the tree to pay for and some booze. I don't think I've done too badly, seeing as I've bought 32 presents in amongst that cost

Going to the theatre tonight - Free!!!

    Hope everyone's ok

  • Morning all. Not so cold here today. Having a quiet day around the house after my mum being up for the weekend. We had a lovely time and the kids were so excited to see her. I think I am coming down with a cold and have to catch up on tidying the house so I will leisurely do the house and rest up with some hot drinks periodically.
Have to nip to post office this morning too as have loads of stuff finished and finishing on Ebay - all comes in handy for Christmas!
    Have a good day all.
Hugs to those who need them.
Am off to catch up with MSE from the weekend now....
  • Hi Penelope Penguin

Just picking up on your MOT today....

Yes, when the car is 3 years old, it needs it's first MOT.

You can have the MOT done up to 1 month before it becomes 3 years old - just take your registration doc with you, and the system will date it for 1 year from the day it is three....

I would get it done ASAP - although you probably won't get in before tomorrow, when the price goes up to 50 pounds....(from about 44) - you may find some garages holding their prices for a while though....

Also remember - it's also best to get it done BEFORE it is three years old - if they fail it on something, and it happens to be covered under warranty, you still have a few days to claim on your 3 year Warranty!!:rotfl:

  • Morning everyone

Frosty and foggy here today once more - have dug my ice scraper and deicer out of the garage ready for use.

Didn't get to post the weekend but had a nice time, went to sisters for Bonfire party Saturday night which was fun. Managed to get the house vacced through before going and changed the beds so had lovely clean bed linen to get into when we got home. Yesterday, I did a mountain of ironing and cooked a lovely Roast, OH has gone to w*** with the leftover meat on his sandwiches today.

    B - Cheerios
L - Sandwiches for OH, pub lunch for me - meeting some friends
D - Scampi for OH, Soup for me after no doubt stuffing myself at the pub

Have a great day everyone and a safe journey to those of travelling anywhere in bad weather xxxx
Its nice to be important but more important to be nice!
