  • Good morning all.

Back to work today, boo. I have already dropped DH at work, he passed his driving test for Mr S yesterday so that's him ready to start driving vans solo next week. Got some bits while I was there. They had packs of little sausages wrapped in bacon, pack of 24, reduced from £4 to 99p, so got a couple of packs of them.

Also managed to go to McD (next door to Mr S) and had a latte. Got home, put in SC some veg to make soup for when I get home after 6pm tonight. Fed the chickens and did a bit more sorting in the kitchen.

Had a good day yesterday. Went with my eldest son and his fiancee to a paper company and got all their card and vellums for their wedding invites. The place is only 4 miles away from Ikea, so guess where I went for lunch!! and managed to buy a bit from the shop too. However, the sale isn't too much to write home about, unless you are looking for big items.

Got some bags of peanuts and another seed feeder for the birds at Poundland yesterday - it's lovely to see the Blue tits etc outside the window.

Hope everyone is feeling better today, and families too.

Morning everyone :) Rather foggy here, but a lot less cold than it's been.
Feel like I've been in the wilderness for weeks, just popping in to say hello now & again, but the new year is nearly here & I need to grab the bull by the horns, MS-wise! :D So...will be here as often as I can, grocery/storecupboard/any other challenge to get a grip!
Had a lovely Christmas - massive family meal (41!) Christmas Day, preceded by the Eve at SIL, quiet Boxing Day (we all needed it!) & few days since. Out with sis today, playgym so the kids can blow off steam, then attack the mess before New Year.
Have a good day, all, will try to pop back later & see what news I've missed.
    A xo

    Good Morning Everyone.
Foggy here too - and all looks very green after all that white stuff!
Yesterday was a bit of a blur, really felt unwell. Today feel a bit more myself, but not going anywhere. DS back in hospital...more tests...
House needs a good sort out. We never take the tree or decs down before twelfth night - but then, we rarely decorate before the 18th December so don't feel we've had the stuff up very long yet!
HM soup for lunch, turkey fry-up with rice etc. for supper. WM already done, but need to get it all dry yet. Need to make more bread too. Hope you all have a good day today. Look after yourselves.

NPM - I hate this week too, just want to get back to normal.

    Morning all

I am not in good form....in fact I look alot like this . DD was an absolute pain in tha backside last night, finally got her settled about 1am then Miss psycho from next door was out in the street shouting and carrying on which unsettled me as she's a bugg3r for putting windows in when she's on one! The DD started again, DS's were coughing in the next room all night.......not good! And as my pain levels increase when I dont sleep properly I'm probably too sore to do what I had planned for today.

DD just told me she's tired ...... I just snarled at her :D Right need copius amounts of coffee and probably some chocolate to put my face straight!

    Have a good day x

    Morning everyone.
Had a lie in til 8.30am without the kids. Dull, foggy and damp - come back sunshine! Ear is now blocked up with congestion, back still playing up, neck still aches........aren't I having a great time off work  Had loads of plans to do with my kids, lots of walking, being out in the fresh air and I don't feel up to any of it  Sorry I know I am always moaning, not in a good place at the moment :o

    Morning all,

Bit gloomy here today, the weather not me :D. We went into town yesterday, and I must say the sales were rubbish, M + S had one rack of sale stuff which was crowded with people, needless to say we spent nothing and came home.

OH gone off to the boot sale this morning, I jave just got dd up, as she has her cervical cancer jab today, althought she has woken with a sore throat, so will ask the nurse if she can still have it.

Got a wash on the go, will hang it on the airer, must say there is much less washing with everyone off work or school.

Need to have a hoover through, and mop floors, I really want my tree down too, only out it up on about the 19th :o, but have had enough of it now.

Not sure about dinner tonight, might be something with chips, I shall be glad when we all get back to normal, and they are all back at work/school :D

    Have good days all xx
