  • I haven't listed much on my Personal account, had some things finish yesterday and I sold about 4 or 5 things not for a lot though, a couple for 99p and the rest £4.50 and under.

Have been concentrating on my Business account, am doing OK on that at the moment, might even turn my holiday settings on for a few days and have a rest have been doing about 10+ parcels a day for a few weeks and am feeling the strain slightly.

Am hoping for a free listing day soon to make me crack on with the Personal items.

  • Had a message from ebay today to say that a buyer had tried to take out a buyer protection thingy but they had told the buyer it was too soon. I posted the item on 31st Jan, so it should have arrived by now but hasn't. I have contacted them to apologise and to offer a refund. Am cross though that they didn't bother to contact me first. Is it me or is that just bad manners???
  • I've made a rather dismal £27.93 this month so far.
Sold one little item this morning, and have a few more ending tonight, but only one with bids.

I think that sooner or later I'm going to bite the bullet and send some of the 99p relists to the charity shop. There's only so many times I can relist things before I get fed up!

I hope everyone else is doing better xx

I've got lots of watchers this time and 3 items with one or two bidders - hope to get a few more though!

Not ebay but I've finally sold a book on Green Metropolis again - very pleased and so a couple of pounds to add from that soon, done a music magpie send off this week and have broken/old silver to send off too. So my making money elsewhere total will start crawling up nicely.

Yeah, I agree with you. Don't understand why they couldn't have contacted you first and advised you of the problem? Too many people are too quick to jump in without checking first!

    Hi all!

I've got 7 items listed, due to finish on Sunday, and so far up to just over £10, quite a few watchers on most of them though so hopefully go for quite a bit more.

    Happy Ebaying everyone! :D

    Hi everyone,

I'm having another dismal month so far, although I've also slacked off on the listing a bit... I've listed a couple of new items (which didn't sell) but other than that have just been relisting a few 99p items. I really need to get some of my old stuff together from my mum's and start selling things that people might pay for!! :o

Regarding relisting items - how long does everyone give the relisting before admitting that maybe someone just doesn't want it?! Or would you go on indefinitely, seeing as it's costing you nothing to relist?

Also, I see someone mentioned they are selling some old magazines - what's everyone's experience on how well they sell? I used to subscribe to Empire magazine (the movie magazine) about 7-10 years ago, and have loads sitting around doing nothing, some I probably never even read! But not sure anyone would buy them?! Still, it's probably worth a go...

Well done on everyone for some fab January totals, and some good Feb totals so far too! I think my aim at the moment is to make March a good month....!:rotfl:

I've just listed 23 - although only 22 are showing up - will look into that later

Just trying (with the help of the techie board) to recover my old photo files so that I can get the mojo to list some more. I don't think I can bear taking more piccies, especially as the light is so bad.

Have moved lots of boxes around so will take a break in a moment to move them back again before the children get back.

Katie, I always relist things until they sell (the 99p ones). Id id have plans to take them to a car boot sale but didn't make it there last year but if I go this year, I shall take them with me.

As for magazines, I used to do quite well on them and then it went quiet but I am going to give it another go.
