Aw nuts, I've just packaged up my items and weighed them and I've diddled myself on the postage. Ah well, at least they sold. *Chalks down to experience*0

Totally with you guys on the manners thing. I always try to be polite even when there's a problem, it doesn't do anything except get your back up does it? And there really is no need...0

I weigh things with the packaging I'd use and then I add 40p to cover postage materials.Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

Is this enough?
I left space for 100 items, P&P cost, P&P paid, price paid and fees.
You do not need to fill everything to get details. You can put lump sums for fees or postage costs in any of the rows for that column, as long as you know that is the total. Or put in the description "Total fees for January", and then put no price/p&p paid by customer and add there the fees only. Same with P&P, you can add a line saying "Total postage" and then add only the postage in that line. It should calculate totals and show you the profit in the square at the right.
It is a VERY BASIC spreadsheet. I am only a basic user, I use them every now and then to do my own finances but never done any course or anything, so please let me know if there is anything wrong and be gentle!!
Let me know if there is any issue downloading it.
WOW..this is great!...thank you so much

I posted 5 things on Thursday and found I'd only undercharged on 1 item by 25p. I find it difficult to balance, as I dont want to overcharge but obviously dont want to undercharge either!
oh well....practice makes perfect eh

Hi all
I've been lurking for a while, and inspired by you all I took advatage of the free listing and managed to sell 6 items! However I received a message from one buyer last night (it did take her 3 days after receiving the item to complain which makes me suspicious) who said the necklace had arrived knotted and a heart had fallen out of the bracelet. These items were Jane Norman and brand new with tags and were well packaged. I have replied saying if she posts them back to me when I receive them back and have had a look at them I will refund her. Was this the right thing to say? I don't want to lose my 100% rating.

Yep, the best thing to do - Paypay would side with them in a SNAD dispute anyway. You may lose the 100% anyway.....

The kids old DS games sold a few nights ago - thats another £55 (after fees) to add to the pot. I have recently listed some IKEA furniture that I dont want to take with me in the move and its not doing to badly at the moment.
My brother asked me to list some bits for him too - so I have done that over the last few days but I am not really keen about it. He's keeping an eye on the sale prices and I have to keep reminding him that he has to take 20% off everything to cover fees but I also keep a basic spreadsheet going so once its all done I can hand that over the accounts with his money!
Not sure I have a lot left to sell - will check the state of some of the kids larger toys today I think....0 -
After my first batch of items posted and paid for, my profit has been a total of £21.67 for clothes, fashion accesories and some empty ink cartridges.
I will update my sig in a bit.
Thanks for the comments for the spreadsheet!Quit smoking *1st January 2010*
