Survived the post office earlier with 17 parcels, there was only one person in front of me when I first got there so I did 7 parcels, then as there was a small queue I sorted out the other parcels and queued again (again only one in front of me when I queued again). I then had 11 small packets at 1.72 each so the guy printed me 11 labels and I stuck the on after I paid.
Got a few more to wrap tonight (it's never ending), the money is great though so not complaining.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -

I agree about the queues in the post office.Feel so guilty when I turn round and see a long line of people:o.Then I think I am putting some money into the system and helping to keep the postie in work:rotfl:.ilovetea xxMake £2024 in 2024 £1161.08

Hi All, have totally lost my ebay mojo. I am exhausted. Every night I have been answering messages, wrapping etc. Need to get to the Post office tomorrow to get 6 parcels postage and one weighed for Southern Ireland (figured I'd do it while I was there). Had two international buyers who didn't realise that my postage said UK and Ireland only, but they're only small (the packages that is) so I'll send them anyway as I don't expect them to exceed the postage paid (famous last words).
Think that despite my living room being an absolute tip with things ready for listing, (dare I say it) I need a break (what a wimp am I?) I do work full time, have a 40 minute drive to work and am a single mother or two, but hey....5 hours a night on ebay is nothing!!!!! I know I should just shut up, it's my own fault and I listed them, (and I am enjoying it really - especially the holiday money.......)I think I'm just tired. Early night for me. I'll be back to ebaymaniac in the morning!!!!
Well done everyone. x0 -

Hi there I agree with you. My son bought a blackberry so I must tell him to sell the box. Amazing:j"You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream"

Hi all,
Your tales of ebay success is such a great motivator!!! - i've sold stuff on ebay on and off for years but now i have soooooooooooooooooo much stuff i just have to get rid of (moving in a couple of months ), my attic is scarily full, not to mention the shed of dread and the cupboard of doom under the stairs (small house and kinda disorganised = lots of stuff shoved behind closed doors) - mainly kids stuff (clothes/toys/baby stuff) plus quite a fair bit of house stuff.
I was hoping i might tap in on your knowledge as to how many days i should list for the best success rate?? - should it be 7 days starting on a Saturday evening as i tend to do now or is there a better option???
xx
hi there
I normally list tuesday for 5 days...ending sunday night at about 9 or so. If programmes like X FACTOR etc are on...try and give half an hour after finishing to give people time to get on to ebay. Also list sunday to sunday on 7 day listing. I found this to be the most profitable.
Hope this helps.:)"You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream"C. S. Lewis

Hi everyone, I listed 28 items on ebay on Sunday evening to finish this Sunday. 2 have bids and most of the other items have watchers, hoping to sell most of them.
My dining room is a tip too filled with some items have skimmed from the house, I have over 200 things to get rid of then I need to have a proper sort out.
I wonder if anyone can help me with the itme location part of the listing on ebay? It has my village and county and wondered if there was any way to change it? ITs a bit to specific for my liking especially after reading a few other threads on here about people living around the corner and pestering to come and pick up items, I just wouldn't be comfortable with that!Aiming to completely pay off the credit card in 2012!0
