  • Welcome to all the new joiners.

I finally packed up at 12.30 last night (listed until 12 and then got the girls school clothes ready), then I laid down on the settee as I started feeling rather rough, went up to bed and felt shattered and a bit sick and my tummy ached a bit, I fell asleep propped up on 3 pillows praying I would not be sick as it is my worst nightmare.

Anyway, felt a bit better this morning but still not 100% not sure if it's just being busy listing on Ebay this weekend and going to my brothers yesterday with the kids, mind you I have been going to bed rather late each night so think it is just catching up with me. Taking my iron tablets again too as I'm meant to be taking them but keep forgetting so will take 2 a day for a week or two. Also ran out of my blood pressure tablets so didn't take one of those yesterday either.

Last thing I need is to be ill when I've just listed a load of stuff and have loads of parcels to wrap up and post. Got 14 parcels to wrap up and post (will leave some for tomorrow), these are all business items.

Will try and take a bit of a break and hopefully attract lots of bids on my Personal items while I rest.

  • Not a good week :( 70 magazines listed and not one was bought. I've reduced the price of some of them. My film magazines are certainly selling slower than my music ones did.

  • Ahh, I lost this thread for a while there... we've been moved!
Two items sold & paid for - should be approx £24 after p&p and fees are deducted :) Listed 36 altogether yesterday. If I manage to sell 10 of them I'll be overjoyed...

Well I was rubbish this weekend - I only managed 7 listings!

Got loads more to do but a lot of that I will put on later this week starting at 99p I think. I still have a couple of what I think are higher value items to sell - does anyone know when the next free listing day will be? I would like to be more prepared!

Congratulations to all those who have made a profit already, & good luck to those that are waiting x

  • Well, I managed to finish the weekend on 44 items listed- not bad a as I usually only manage about 10!!
I only have one bid though, but do have 13 watchers and someone interested in an item with postage to Australia so it should hopefully turn into a sale! Yea.
I am a bit gutted though as I listed my wedding dress and had a watcher but now they have gone! That's my biggest item (value wise) so would love to sell it!!!

    Good luck to everyone else

  • Just had to refund £31.00  for a coat i sold last week, it does'nt fit!!

Kinda my own fault though i listed the size but not the measurements, and its to small for the lady or she's bigger than she thinks she is!

I don't usually sell clothes coz there such a pain in the bum to list and time consuming!!

Also a bit miffed as buyers seem to be taking ages to leave feed back, i dont withdraw any cash from paypal until i know they are happy, currently got £170 odd sitting there waiting to be withdrawn

enough of my moaning...lol......Good luck with your sales everyone :j and may all your feedbacks be positive ones! :D

  • Delighted to have sold 2 items on ebay and one book through Amazon. Ok, not huge amounts of money (about £30) but to put that in context it's enough to pay for my weekly fuel costs to and from work - in fact slightly more than a week's worth.

I haven't listed anything else yet but will certainly be listing a few more books this evening and maybe a couple more items on ebay (sick that I missed the free listing weekend but just wasn't up to it). If I can make another £20-30 then it'll give me a bit more confidence to keep at it.
  • Everyone is doing so well! :T All of mine are ending on Saturday/Sunday though and while no bids so far, watcher numbers are increasing slowly... :) Two watchers on McDonalds toy. :D:shocked:
    2011 143.47£ on eBay :starmod:
