im having a horrible time with ebay :-(
Sold my wedding shoes & the buyer left positive fb, then sent me a msg to say they didnt arrive! She was to check with the sorting office & let me know. Im hoping no news is good news, as I have binned the proof of postage (seeing as she left + fb!)
Then today, a river island purse I sold, the buyer sent me a horribly rude message to say it was broken - I posted it first class yesterday, and it was in perfect condition! :eek:
She opened a case b4 even letting me know there was an issue!
That fact that her message seemed so bloody nasty has pi**ed me right off!! Grrrr :mad:

Thanks Listerbelle - good! Sorted some sellable toys at the beginning of the week ready for next FLW. My items havent attracted any bids as yet though got a few watchers - not holding out too much hope. Think Ill just decrease prices this FLW and see if stuff goes and then put some new stuff on.
Credit_crunch - that feedback about the wedding shoes sounds odd. I wonder if you can use the + feedback with ebay/paypal to prove she received them??

Hmmm. I saw on another thread here that there's a FLW this weekend, but I haven't received a FLW message from Ebay.

Maybe time with tell with this one.

I listed 33 items last weekend. One item has one bidder, and I have 12 watchers looking at 10 items....another quiet one for me I guess...

Hope all is well in everyone's world

I just checked over on ebay and there's nothing on the "announcements" page about a FLW, but am I right in thinking they usually don't announce this until the Friday before the FLW? I guess it's just a case of watching this space....!

good news - my wedding shoes were returned to me this morning so I have said to the buyer I will re post them, but at their expense as I will not be reimbursed for the first postage costs.

I ahve had a horrible buyer too - trashed my dashboard and now cant have FL - actually quite liberating in a way as I am not waiting for FLW, listing stuff at 99p which is going for silly prices ( high!) and can list out of sync with FLW so finishing when there is not masses of stuff listed due to FLW - IYSWIM - dont think I will bother waiting for for FLW just to save a few pennies - although keeping as much as I can does have some appeal as thiefbay cant get their hands on it

oh that not good Igamogam - if the feedback was not justified can you not report it? Awful that a buyer can affect things like that...
Good news about your 99 p items though!!!
I know what you mean about FLW - my stuff (which is still same quality and same collectability ) as previously this year is now not going for much if at all thinking of listing at different times so that I can see if its just too much on ebay.... worth a try anyway.
Had a couple of BIN from last weekend go - but most of my listings finishing tomorrow...

Only got 5 new listing on last weekend. Better than nothing I suppose.

The buyer of the faulty item returned the item, so I have done a full refund plus the cost of return postage. She then asked for an extra £1 for a padded envelope. I said I would consult eBay & if they insisted I pay for packaging then I would send her the £1.

She has left me horrifically negative feedback :-( I am gutted! I have emailed eBay to ask if it can be withdrawn as I co operated fully & inline with eBay guidelines etc.

Puts such a downer on the whole ebaying thing for me when you get an a**hole that ruins it!

That is so unfair for you credit_crunch and what a cheek to ask for £1 for an envelope! :mad: I hope you can get the fb removed and file to cancel the transaction because you refunded her money and more. There is hope even if little that you'll get some money back.

I really hope I don't come across her/him. Do you mind pm'ing the username to add to my BBL? maybe they're already on it:rotfl:

Didn't even get to list last weekend. Too busy sewing, my new hobby :rotfl:
