  • Littlest Flower - hope you did some scheduling last night upon finding out about the free listing weekend!! :)
Foxy 78- I wouldnt worry about the cash. For collection items, you are better off having cash anyway. If you are not comfortable having someone to your house then meet on neutral territory. Saves you having to post them anyway!

Good luck listing everyone - I scheduled some Christmas party wear last night .....Its that time of year!! Some more stuff to put on and at the very least can relist what doesnt sell this weekend...

Thanks, I never offered the option of cash on collection - it was postal option only

Its was the possibility of £50 notes i was concerned about, I've arranged to meet at a neutral place tomorrow, will see how that goes.

    Thanks all

Certainly cash on collection is advised so buyer cant claim didnt get item and get refunded through PP.... but fake money?? That would be an awful lot of tenners all duds?? £50 notes I would be more concerned about. And are you going to hold the buyer by the hand until you pay the money in cos you will have to do it over the counter to get the notes checked. And if they are duds ...then what?? But I can understand your concern and whatever makes you feel more comfortable I guess.........BTW was the item sold with a postal option or did you offer collection only?

Good luck with this weekend everyone :)

I'm lurking these days - my crazy shifts at work combined with living on a different continent mean that I have to carefully plan my ebaying around the my in/ability to get to a UK post office.

    How did everyone's listings go?

I managed 20 - six relists, the remainder new.

    Fingers crossed!!

  • Hello - I only managed 4 new ones... Didnt do really well on sales - cleared about £40 so relisted all the non sellers thinking that next week will be nearer payday :)
  • I've only managed 5 this time round! Hopefully a few will sell!
I'm trying to sell my home PC & my dyson but I might look at places that let you trade in items like that. Not havin much luck with eBay for the PC.
I might try the dyson on eBay next FLD.
  • How have we all done? I cleared about £40 after fees etc. Had a lot of non sellers that I will need to relist. I messed up the clock change - and finished a load of items during X factor :( (Im blaming that anyway!!!!)
