i have 5 or 6 messages through ebay from him, clearly stating he wants to use paypal so hopefully it will work out ok!
Fingers crossed!
Any sign of FLD this weekend? Could do with another wee burst of buyers lol!!0 -
Adoremouse - Welcome to the group! THe others have given you good counsel to get a personal account. Wish you all the best as you get stuck into getting rid of the clutter!
Credit_crunch - I agree - best to take cash up front to ensure no issues with payment.
Sophiasmum - that's wonderful that you're paying down your cc with ebay money - definitely helps to have a great goal and despite this last weekend, sounds like you're making a good size dent and will have a great Christmas and BD
Welcome back Mavvymoo! I too find that I need a break every now and again.
September was a great month for me with the multiple FLW and the 9-day free listing too! - so wish they had more of those!!! I'm very close to my goal for this year of £2k - yay! Though, as I've been on a buying spree too it doesn't look like I've made much of a dent in my clutter....oh well. In truth, most has been for my boys so at least I've done well in cycling their toys so now they only have stuff they are interested in and I've gotten rid of the bigger 'baby' things - like jumperoo, swing, baby seat etc. Now if only I could get around to selling all the clothes they've outgrown....!!!!!! Make Me Rich This Year eBay & Gumtree
2013 goal is getting rid of all my clutter and it would be a bonus to make £2000 again doing so!

Well - Ive decided to bite the bullet and as we are not having a free listing weekend (
) I am going to list about 8 items paying listing fees. Basically could do with the cash! and think they will sell.
Also going to list some 99p stuff..................
Anyone else?0 -

oh your a braver girl than me lol!! I have a few silly things that I will try to list at 99p throughout the month, but anything more than that I will be waiting for free listing.
I really need to get back into the way of preparing listings, so that when the FLD comes along, I literally just have to change it to list immediately!
Only managed one like that so far!0 -

sofa was collected & he paid through paypal & has left feedback already, so hopefully it all works out.
I have listed 2 items, or scheduled them anyway, so hopefully get a fld soon & that I can be bothered to get a few more scheduled!0 -
Congrats on your sale Credit Crunch! It sounds very positive that they already left feedback - and I imagine you could show that to Paypal if there were any issues. Nice dent in your card payments .
I'm crossing my fingers for another FLW this weekend. I've still so much clutter to get rid of...:D!!!!!! Make Me Rich This Year eBay & Gumtree

My Ebaying is slowing down now. Have been self employed to sell on Ebay since Feb 2006, I've now got my first job in 8.5 years working 16 hours a week (been a SAHM since 2004). Will still be listing the odd thing, have enjoyed ebaying but it's changed so much over the last few years and just too much competition now.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160

Hi everyone, I am not sure if this is the right place to post this but I need some ebay advice.....I posted an item on the 24th Sept by recorded signed for delivery. I got an email from the buyer on the 4th October to say they had not recieved the item, I tracked the item and it says it was deliverex on the 26th Sept and signed for by the buyer, when I told her this she said she had signed for an envelope but that it was empty and her postman told her it had been damaged by rain. I know that this is going to entail putting a claim through Royal mail but I am just wondering whose responsibility it is to claim, mine or the buyers, what are my responsibilities now as a seller? Thanks all.0
