2 out of my 27 items have bids :T
This includes something I have relisted for the 3rd week running so if it doesn't sell the first time, there is no saying it won't sell the second, third or fourth time around.0 -
Erkk, this holiday thing is giving me problems. I can't do holiday settings because I'm not a business seller, so I've cancelled all my BINs (cost of about £3.50... oh well).
I've been left with two non-payers from the auctions that finished over the weekend, and I've emailled them to say I'm away from Thursday, so they need to pay by tomorrow or I won't be able to post their parcels until XXth of May. But I've just realised that I've effectively told them when my house is going to be empty  Do my buyers have any way of finding out my address?
Please reassure me that they don't!!Mortgage when started: £330,995

Hi
I sell on Ebay and have had to just to make ends meet for a few years now.But I need a kick up the behind at the moment to become motivated so thought you lovely people may do that for me
My DH has got a pretty well paid job about 5 weeks ago so I have relaxed a bit with the old Ebay thingy. But as I know in his line of work it could end any day.
I still have loads of clutter in the house that drives me insane just so tempted to load it in bags for the charity shop.
So thought if I join everyone here it would give me my mojo back:T
I have got 10 items on at the moment due to finish Sunday and 7 have bids on so pleased with that.
I will,I will list some more tomorrow for 10 days so please kick me where it hurts to make me do just that ! :rotfl: Thanks all good luck with your sales
Debt free and Mortgage free thank you to all for your encouragement and advice :j

Go go go Mavvymoo!! Great news on your 7 of 10 with bids! That's a great start. I've been dragging my feet these last two months as works been crazy and I've just lost my ebay focus a bit. However, I'm ready to start up again too as we're going to get our garage converted into a playroom and need to store everything that we can't get rid of (right now it's a tip with all the stuff in it). Hopefully, I'll be able to unload a bunch of things on Ebay although unfortunately, the're mostly small items and don't take up much space....
Good luck to everyone!!!!!!!! Make Me Rich This Year eBay & Gumtree

HI everyone!! I am desperately trying not to think bad thoughts about ebay (and loosing the battle i have to say lol)! My update for this week so far is i started off with 94 BIN listings and sold 4 of them since Monday
So i'm up by about £22
I have also literally just changed over from using recorded delivery to using first class which i always used to use until i had 12 non delivery claims made when i had proof of posting and paypal refunded the buyers  I found recorded delivery charges where affecting my sales so thought i would try 1st class again last week and already have someone saying they didn't receive something - it really drives me nuts and i am wondering how you guys work with postage?
Oh and i am another one hates no capitals in addresses and no spaces in postcodes :rotfl:, also though when the address is all in a jumble cos i usually have no idea where the street address ends and the town begins :rotfl:Debt at Aug 2010 (LBM) £21,908.86, Debt Freeeeee Date 4th Nov 2013 :j:j:j Massive Thanks to the £10 per day thread :A Next goals:Savings £1203.16/£10,000******Mortgage to Zero: £52,579.46 to go

Hi
I'd love to join you. I've been ebaying on and off for a while, with hit and miss results.
My house is still full of things too good to throw away, and I really need some money.
I'm wondering if you have tips for listing lots of 99p items? It just takes so long to take the pics and write the descriptions. I've tried using turbo lister, but it keeps crashing. And the mobile app is just as bad!
Any pearls of wisdom greatly received!Lost 38.5 lb with SW so far, 56LB to go!:A

mymamma - I try to list similar things together and use the 'sell similar' option in ebay. This seems to be the quickest way Ive found of doing it...
My friend uses the mobile app (iphone) and raves about it - but I havent got a phone that can use that facility. I tries turbolister but didnt like it.
Load them up in ebay when convenient to you - schedule them for a date way ahead and just remember to edit them yourself to set the live when you want to avoid charges.0 -
Thanks sophiasmum,
