Hi Fredula - I remember you from reading through the thread recently :T
I've just hit my 100 free listings for the first time ever this month. Will have to set up the rest to start tomorrow and remember to kick them off manually.
Only one of my active items is selling so far, but i have lots of watchers. Lets hope some of them bid...Mortgage when started: £330,995

LannieDuck I would definitely try Gumtree. They're much more popular here in the UK than Craigslist (which is the main choice if you're in the US). I sell my bigger items through Gumtree and have done well but there's always the issue of timewasters because you meet up with people normally for the transaction rather than just through mail though I think you can mail as well.
Fredula - welcome back!! Congratulations on your little one!! Having had twins myself last year, I know exactly what you mean about lots of baby things to sell. (I've been very fortunate to get some good bargains on ebay for toys and such that I've been able to turn around and sell once they've outgrown it too.) When are postage prices due to rise?!!!!!! Make Me Rich This Year eBay & Gumtree
2013 goal is getting rid of all my clutter and it would be a bonus to make £2000 again doing so!

Made 3 sales yesterday - I had forgotten I had some due to finish. My account restricted to less than 100 items a per month so I am going for the full amount as I was reading on the info pages that they ( whoever 'they' are) review on a regular basis but it would seem better if you regularly use your full allowance. My account restricted for no good reason as far as i can seen - long established account - but I really CBA getting into a long protracted email correspondence with Eb*y as it will all be cut and paste best fit answers:mad: So I will max out the allowance and see what happens:DBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Well March was a crazy month month for me, a couple of big family issues to deal with and my one a day ebay kind of fell by the wayside
Although i Have the next two weeks off work so setting myself a target of listing 50 items before i go away hopefully this will compensate for March too and i will feel less annoyed about it.
Time to move on and pick it back up in April and i WILL start today
sleepless2012*1 A DAY on Ebay*Jan 31/31PLUS 24 EXTRA= 55

Advice required! Some of you may remember I sold some Clarkes shoes and the winner of the auction mailed to say she had had her daughters feet measured and they were no longer the right size so she no longer required them! I 'spoke' with ebay and they said to open a cancellation request (to get my fees back) and to email the customer asking them to respond to the cancellation. Cancellation was basically saying that the buyer didnt want to go through with the transaction. I mailed her and she responded saying she would go along with the cancellation -but she hasnt
its still open. Im getting more and more annoyed - do you think I should open a non payment case???? Dont want to end up with bad feedback as its on my new account but surely people shouldnt be allowed to get away with this???

Hi everyone, it seems rather quiet on my Ebay sales this evening, not expecting any huge figures this week. Still, every penny counts!
Decided not to put any to finish next weekend as I have some nice quality clothing to load up and my theory is that as they are women's clothes and women tend to be rather busy at holiday times, I will aim to get those on for the weekend after.
Besides, I have been feeling a bit burnt out (already!) doing this on top of everything else and felt a weekend off would be good.
This isn't me giving up - I have had a bit of a spring-clean and have stacks more to photo and load up over the next few weeks.
Keep up the good work everyone!
Edited to Add: As predicted, sales weren't great this weekend, but at least they all sold!31.5/1000 -
Sophiasmum- what a nightmare! It;s terrible that when we cancel a transaction to be nice to someone we don't even get our listing fee back so are out of pocket....never mind if they don't actually cancel. I hope someone can help you as to what you should do.
It was a very slow month for me as I was so busy with work. Hopefully, next month I'll post more as _Sleepless_ I too fell off the one-a-day.
Hoping April's a bumper month!
