You've got to remember when they're due to end though rather than when you list them. E.g. I stupidly listed a couple of what should have been reasonably selling items to end on the finale of X Factor. Went for min bid of 99p.

So moral of the story, don't worry about when you list them but think about when they are due to end i.e. major TV programmes like culminations of soap plots, important football games (though if for kiddie items can be good as lots of mums are on Ebay whilst the other half watches the game) and big events such as the jubilee.

Update! = My non paying case is closed :) so I get fees back and the moral highground! I have now blocked her (My blocked list of users gets longer by the month and I have to remember to put on the lists on both accounts!)On the other hand there are some lovely ebayers - I had one repeat customer email yesterday to wish me a happy easter! :)
You all sound like youve been really busy preparing listings. Ive put about 40 to end this Sunday/Monday - Im figuring that the weather is rubbish and people may be on their PCs in the evening having spent the bank holidays with their familys (well thats my logic!)
Last day in work for me today for 10 days - and although I will be with my 2 children for the whole of that time - I do intend to sort more stuff and prepare listings when they are occupied..

Thank you for help, sleepless and FrugalLina.....

I listed 6 items which will be ending Monday...so hopefully get bids.:o

Also agree with you Alleycat that its most important when the listing ends rather than when it starts....

Good luck to all who have listed for this weekend and who are preparing to...:A:A:A

I had a buyer recently who paid for the item but not the postage, and wouldn't respond to any of my messages. In the end I refunded what he'd paid and opened a cancellation case so that I could get the FVF back. Predictably the buyer didn't respond so after 7 days I went back into it through the resolution centre and closed the case. Might be worth a look!

This has happened to me. My listing ended on Saturday. I emailed the Buyer telling him I could not post until yesterday as I was away for a few days. He made payment on the Sunday but not the p&p element. I emailed him yesterday about this. How long do you think I should give him before refunding? Don't want to be unfair as I have expected him to wait until I could post the item in any case.

Similar to Frugallina however I would open the case first then email explaining that you haven't heard form her so you had no option to open a dispute - threatening to open a case may well just push her to leave you a neg - if she pays/cancels then you can close the case. This way she should not be able to leave you unfavourable f/b and if she does by getting through some hidden loop hole, then you have a case to have it removed because you have done all you can. Unfavourable f/b is NOT good and can effect your account for up to 12 months

I have opened a case against a Buyer. Is it correct that she cannot enter negative feedback against me? I'm appalled that negative feedback cannot be left for a Buyer and am not happy that the filing of the case is the only way to show a blip on her account.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
