Quick question - do you tend to find it's worth allowing international buyers to bid?
It would be a bit more hassle for me - going to post office for postage rather than buying postage online + popping in post box... but if I got more bids, it might be worth it...Mortgage when started: £330,995

LannieDuck - I find its worth having international sales but I sell a lot of more collectable stuff, I reckon about 1/3 of my sales are from overseas.....I def need to offer it. I don't find it too much of a hassle as I go to the post office to post everything!
I know there are some on here who only post within the UK...
Must update my Feb sales figure - as we are onto March now! March already looking to be my best month yet0 -

Lannie i sell a lot abroad, even have people in Australia willing to pay £7.00 for p&p. Find people are far more honest too, i tend to get more problems with 'missing parcels' from UK buyers. Postage to Europe is only aprox 50p more.
Just wanted to say be very careful with using paypal to pay for your postage then putting in the post box i know this saves time, however if an item doesn't arrive, you will need the proof of posting from the post office to claim for a lost parcel.
15 bids on items ending tonight so far, including an item i bought for my mum that didn't fit for £2.00 which is now selling at over £10 and lots of watchers

I dont allow international sales - too much hassle in my experience! However when I get an enquiry I do say that I will sell if they can provide me with a UK address where I can send item to - its amazing how many have an address in UKBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Hey everyone,
Congrats on your FLW sales. I've managed £56.89 total for 8 items (only 1 was not a relist) so I'm happy with that. Unfortunately, I underestimated the postage on a number of items as I just didn't have time to weigh them when I first posted them. Oh well. At least it's a garbage bag full of stuff I no longer have
Natterjack - how sneakykeeping it from your OH. I bet they'll be thrilled when the credit card is paid off though!
Like many of you I'm focusing on decluttering. I'm going to focus on listing all the big items I can think of in the next few weeks (one a day as Sleepless is doing!) so that I can really see some movement. I think that that will be very motivating as these little ones are tough! Just need to make sure I take the packing into consideration. One bigger item today took me 30min to pack as I couldn't find the right-size box. Definitely need to make sure that I've enough available for the next lot.
Here's to a great rest of the month!!

D'oh! I just spent £50 on ebay. I've been resisting buying a jumparoo for my daughter for months, but I finally caved.
I'm supposed to be making a bit of money, not spending it! :doh:Now I definitely need another FLW.Mortgage when started: £330,995

Lannieduck, I've got one of those for my boys and they are amazing. You'll definitely get your £50 worth out of it. Mine will happily play in there for 30min at a time.
But all the same, here's to another free listing weekend!!!:j!!!!!! Make Me Rich This Year eBay & Gumtree

Lannieduck - you sound just like me! Im watching loads of stuff trying hard to resist buying... temptation there while money in paypal!
The sales I had on my 2nd account have all be despatched (was allowed to sell 10 items) but I cant withdraw the money until positive feedback received or 21 days! Think its going to take a while to get that account up and running.....
Just listed another x7 items - currently got x71 listed and x48 will sell - shame I sell mainly low price point stuff!!!0
