Yes - Im pleased with the stamps! & it does seem to be that the starting time doesnt matter which is handy. I think every set of stamp I put on is selling with at least 2 bids - so today I'm going to put another 10 sets on. = Aim for today!
Could really do with the money at the moment what with a water bill, a credit card bill and just general living

Not intending to do too much this weekend so may as well make a start on some 99p listings and get ready for a big week of posting next week.

    - I opened another ebay account a couple of weeks ago so that I can hopefully in the future get more free listings..Has anyone else done that? Am restricted on that account at the moment in that I can only sell 10 items a month on there - but all 10 items I listed are selling so want to get that account up and running.
  • Morning all, I just wanted to ask something. Do you all receive feedback on your sells quickly? The reason I am asking is that I made a few sales these passed two weeks (small items like beads) and out of approximately 8 buyers, only 2 have left feedback. They all should have received their items by now. Now only do I like to get the feedback but it also lets me know they have received the items ok.

I want to transfer the money I have made to my bank account and I am afraid to do so in case I need to do any refunding.

moneymanager - Im sure Ive read somewhere that the stats are that about 1/3 leave feedback so you are nearly there. I tend to leave seller feedback to give them a gentle nudge/reminder. I would transfer the money if I were you - you can guarentee that if they hadn't received their purchase then they would have been quick enough letting you know!! I know what you mean though - I really like my overseas customers to leave feedback to let me know they have got their purchase, but really if you hear nothing then thats a good thing too! Means they have nothing to complain about :)

I agree with sophiasmum, mm you should just go and transfer the money. I also find that I only get about 1/3 of feedback from my sales.

Congrats sophiasmum on your stamps, that's great! In terms of second account I don't think that there's any issue with it?? but someone will be along to help you out on that one.

Merrymary - yes, probably best just to try and forget it. I have to believe in karma :)

Lannieduck - welcome! Ebaying is addictive :D though I have to say I've no where near the drive that some have had in putting up 50-100 items/month. I've got 18 (17 relists) on right now and have one that's sold for 2.99...a few watchers on the others but I'm not expecting big things at the moment. Wonder if everyone is broke from Valentines:rotfl:.

Sleepless - yes it was you! I think the one a day is fabbo!! I've done mine today and just scheduled it for 2 weeks from now - hope we get a FLW by then!

On a superlucky note!!!! I just got a letter from HM Revenue & Customs saying that they overcharged me tax in the 2006-7 year and I'm going to get a cheque for £1200 back!! WHoooeeeeeeee!!!!!!!:T:T:T How amazing is that! I had no idea that they bother to audit their processes but I'm definitely not complaining. <need to control the urge to spend it....> We just had to replace our boiler 2 weeks ago for £2400 - OUCH - so this will make a fantastic dent in that cost...though our washer dryer is starting to make horrendously loud noises when it's on the rinse cycle so I fear that will need replacing soon too. Fortunately, DH was able to fix our dishwasher after I researched the issue online and ordered a particular part that fails often - only £32 thank goodness. It's amazing how everything fails around the same time...

Sending all my best to everyone!

I have about 55 items listed, not much bidding action going on at the moment.

Slipper75 - That is great about the tax rebate, my dad just got a £4k tax rebate too, I last worked in 2004 so doubt I'll get anything.

I didn't do too well in Feb- About £130 profit on both buy to sell and declutter. Aiming to keep all money in Paypal to withdraw at the end of the month so we can pay a credit card off- oh doesn't realise Im keeping it in their though! So my target for this month is £520! I think I need to start listing on other days that aren't free listing in order to do this. I might also aim to schedule or list 10 items everyday Im off work- so 40 a week! So Im already behind for the month as none ready- but have taken some photos. Will try and do 20 by the end of the weekend even though Im working!
    £20 a day April 2014 £834.87/£600 :j

Some buyers dont leave feedback - I tend to leave it once I have received it ( the f/b). Really the only fail safe way of ensuring your buyers have received their item is to send it recorded delivery - I only send things signed for now after being stung too many time by serial INR scammers :(

Hmm, I've been asked for a buy it now price for one of my items. Only problem is I don't really know whether it's worth anything. I put it on for 99p and figured it's worth what people will pay for it.

Maybe this person would pay a tenner. I'd be happy for him to have it for that.

... but I made it into a novelty auction, and I kinda want to see whether anyone bids.

Decisions, decisions! I think I'll wait over the weekend to see whether there's any movement on the auction and decide whether to quote him a BIN price on Monday.
