    Hello!

I've been selling stuff on Amazon, Play, and Green Metropolis (mainly CDs, DVDs, and books) for almost three years but not tried eBay ... though I've been thinking about giving it a go for some of my other bits and bobs.

So thought I'd say a tentative hello in here - and probably sign up to this! I've got lots of stuff that I'm sure I can sell!

Well, I've signed up to sell on eBay, sorted out a box full of bits and pieces to sell, and started to look at similar items ... just got to take some photos and start listing.

Listing seems to be something of a real chore, especially as I'm used to listing on Amazon, Play, and Green Metropolis, which is really quick and easy. I think that's the reason I've avoided eBay so far!

Going to start with a few small things to see how I go! I've got lots of stuff that seems to be perfect for eBay so it'll be great to declutter AND make some cash!

I have lots of lotions and potions, I have been listing some of the branded/ new and unused ones today, most are from gift sets managed to list 5 lots and then got hit with a selling restriction for 30 days  for that type of items.... Boooooo !!

Thankfully the ban is only for that type of product, ive still got about 10 to list.

steer if you want a home for some of the old ones let me know what you have and ill give you postage plus a little bit (film student so old magazines are usually pretty good)
Thanks Elfen. They are great to read. I really can't bear to chuck them in the recycling bin, when they are still so readable. I've got about 30 that can't be sold, so I'll make a detailed list and let you know the postage too. I'm about to go out at 5.30 so I won't be able to do it tonight, so I'll try and get the list to you by the end of the week.

I've listed another item : a little red handbag. Big freezer has already 25 watchers , but still the same amount of bids. My other items have no bids, but let's wait.

Sorry as this has probs been asked before, but how do these selling restrictions work? I've never heard of it before and never came across the problem myself.

Just listed an item on 'buy it now' and I'm going to list a few 99p items tonight, too. Maybe just on 3-days listing though as like mrscmr I'm impatient :o

Not looking forward to the post office queue tomorrow at all, what with people getting their benefits after it being closed for ages, it will be hemmed

I've still only got 8 listed, will try and do a few later when the kids are in bed, think I need to try and catch up with everyone else.
