10 of the items I put on last night have got bids! Can't believe it! Did help that I knew that someone who had bought from me previously was interested in what I was selling so I sent her a message......
They dont end until next Sunday - probably half will only go for the listing price but may see a bit of movement on the rest of them. All inspired now - so going to dig out some more!!!0 -
TMD - I totally forgot about the time of year - that totally makes sense that there would not be many bids right now due to the 5-6wks between paychecks.
I guess I'll post for a later date and hope that a FLW happens soon.
Sophiasmum- great news about your sales and kudos for keeping in touch with that buyer too!:T
Credit Crunch - Super congrats on your total so far ( listings and earnings from them!!)
Completely lost - congrats to you too.
Here's to more sales soon!!!:j

Hmmm, buyer emailed me to ask if I'd sell something for £16.00 delivered.
I had it listed as £21 delivered and it was already cheap, but nobody bidded. Not sure whether to take his offer and get rid, or try relisting on the next free weekend...0 -
Got some more bids today on items today, only 99p listings but they still have 6 days to go and hopefully will get a few more bids and if not then I am happy with 99p.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160

Not sure really suppose it depends on how much the item will cost to post. Is it a Buy It Now item? If so maybe add the Best Offer option and see if you get any better offers. I've added Best Offer to a lot of my Business items.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -

I did really well 20 out of 24 items sold with a total of nearly £110 before fees etc. The 7 that paid have already been posted and most of the others have paid today. Typically 1 is sending a cheque but I did get more for that lot than expected so can't complain. (13 of the items belonged to my OH and are from a specific hobby where people tend to have disposible income to buy bits and pieces which is why I think they did well)
I finishing tonight then going to relist 2 of the things that didn't sell last night today and hopefully another 3 listings at least. Got some clothes to list too but waiting for free listings for those I've decided and the other relists from yesterday. Just need to keep this up for the year!Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

Welcome to all the newbies (Robo- very nice start with your phone!)!!!:T
Credit_Crunch - here's to lots of final bidding frenzies!!! I can't imagine you've managed any housework with so many items posted
CompletelyLost - what did you end up doing with your £21 item?
TMD - glad it's starting to get better for you. I've listed a bunch for Feb 6 and hoping that we'll get another free-listing weekend by then.
As for me, I've only 4 items currently listed on Ebay with another 5 on Gumtree. Just got a BIN yesterday so that's another £14 or so
Big hello and good luck to everyone!
