I did 2 relists and 8 new listings yesterday, nothing mega value but a few things I wouldn't be happy to go for 99p.

Still got my NPB from last week, messaged her yesterday saying if I didn't hear anything by tomorrow morning I'd report her to ebay so we'll see how things go there.

silvasava - yes you can as I do that, although I can't remember how I set it up I'm afraid - insertions of some kind I think - I write the item description and then hit insert conditions and the bit about non smoking home, payment details, other items etc pops up at the end.

I've got my next area of stuff I want to try and clear too - so I'm going to do some research on that - and next week when I have time start photographing and writing descriptions so I can be ready for the next free listings day - this one rather caught me out!

silvasava, I have it set up on TL but have no idea how I did it but must try and find out...

£8.52 off £200 at the moment with less than an hour to go on some of my auctions. Fingers crossed there are a few more bids.

Gutted. I sold a bundle of girls clothes including a Burberry coat to a buyer in France. The listing ended at £4.99 with only the one bid. Buyer asked for revised invoice for postage and I charged her £6.50 My own stupid fault I know. Just got back from the Post Office and it's cost me £10.45 to send so with charges i've made....zilch ARGH!

Grrr that's so annoying when that happens. I usually try and just think of the little bits extra I have made on p&p on other sales (by reusing jiffy bags, that sort of thing)

well this is it, I try and recycle 99% of all my packaging (recently got 3 black bags of jiffy bags, boxes etc from freecycle) Think i'm more bothered by the fact that the Burberry coat didn't hike the price up more than £4.99

    Hi guys,

I have another quick question if someone wouldn't mind offering some advice? I recently found an old poster that has never been opened, is still in its cellophane wrapping, and is definitely something I won't be using/putting up. I know it's a Spiderman (movie) poster, and I *think* I know what it probably looks like, but I can't remember for certain. Should I sell it as it is, brand new in packaging etc, but with no guarantee what the picture actually looks like, or should I open it to see the design and then list it as new but not in packaging?! I don't want to get negative feedback if the design is not as described, but I think it's more valuable in it's cellophane...

    In a quandry!

    Thanks

    Hi :)
is it an old poster? if it is it will be more valuable in packaging - for collectors anyway. however if it is one of the more recent movies it may well be worth opening it so you can take a pic and people will be more likely to bid.- opening it up to everyone. Or if you think you know which poster it is - see if you can search it on the internet to find a pic so you dont open yours - if you see one you think is similar post it and state 'similar to that in picture'. so long as you are 100% honest in your listing you will be fine x
  • Yey! £89.31 for the month! Really pleased with that. Going to try and list some more items this week - currently just have 2 which i relisted x

Listed some beautiful sparkly Aldo high heeled shoes and a buyer emailed me to ask if I could take a photo of my foot in the shoe, well I'm selling them for my sister who has smaller feet so the shoes don't fit, I explained this so they asked if I could just try and squeeze my foot in which I did and emailed the photo. Now my hubby thinks it's someone with a foot fetish!!!!!

    Haha love it!

It's funny cos I was just thinking today, I've sold about four or five pairs of ladies shoes in the last month or so and they've all been posted to men! Hehe!
