lol no not your personally. I have come on here and havent intended at any time to offend anyone or do any damage i have not at any stage given false information or representation but EVERY thread i have posted in on any capacity has been turned against me and my actions. Surely people arent so shallow as to still judge me by the reputation that goes before me but maybe i am wrong and i live in an idealistic world.

ppc_guy unfortunately most of us here will never agree with you. I personally believe, that you believe, you are running a worthwhile ethical business. What you are failing to see is most of us here do not believe your industry should exist in the format they do!
You yourself have used the word "cowboys" to describe other companies. You have stated you do things differently we have to take your word for that, however it does not change the fact that most here do not agree with your business.
Speaking personally I agree a landowner has the right to control their land. They should do that themselves and not employ a company who goes to them with the promise of managing their car park, when in fact they are going in to fleece the public. If it was not seen as such an injustice why do so many come here after doing an internet search. We see here and on other forums maybe one disgruntled driver with a local authority PCN to every ten PPC invoices.
Unfortunately a lot of people at the moment still seem to be paying to enable these companies to carry on. You call us "moaners" because we advise ignorance and then open a thread like this. It is not because we are moaners it is because we see the injustice from every angle. Take away the DVLA and most PPC's would die in a month. Even the DVLA try to justify by saying the alternative would be clamping. No I don't think so most clamper's work off small private pieces of land, I can not see most retailers allowing clamping.
The issue is your industry is based on fear and intimidation, it is using contrived contract law to look as if they have official standing. Please look at some of the invoices and letters sent by your colleagues, they issue charges which are unjustified, for conventions that carry no authority. The damage has been done, its too late now asking for our opinion on what should be done. The greed of these companies will force their downfall as more and more decide to ignore.
Look how many come here alone every day. The word is spreading, I think your industry needs to change its format, away from gaining through deception to earning though justified car park management.
PS: Before Christmas I posted Town and City were doing parking control at my local Asda, I asked the manager yesterday if they were bringing them in to manage the car park. To quote her words. "I don't think they would risk it here, she then added and I would not welcome it, it is more trouble then its worth"
Happy new year to you and your family. [in your personal life of course];)0 -
Again i have already said in the new year (well once the contract is done by the lazy arsed solicitor (no not Graham White)) i will be runnig some airport parking in a few places throughout the UK so the PCN side of things will vanish after 28 notice i am required to give to clients.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Thing is once you have gone, some other PPC will go there and it will start again, the only option for you people to exist is to have pay and display car parks, or to have real management at free car parks where the operator gets paid by the retailer and invoices are only issued when there is true abuse, and when they are actually taken to the small claims, the smaller car parks can be protected by bolards, gates and chains, or by going to the council and ask them to add it to their rta car parks.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
I think someone needs to tell the government to up the £2.50 charge. They're sitting on a gold mine here and we'd all like to see PPC's have to pay out more.0

Won't affect councils as they have a special rate I think, but good idea to screw the ppc's.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

The councils probably dont even need to pay as it would be going from one government fund to another.
The PPC's wont care they will just become more persistentHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

How will this "persistence" manifest itself? Even more fraudulent letters trying to frighten and intimidate people into paying up?What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
Bringing back in Data Protection. It is up to the holder of the information to decide whether to disclose information, regardless of what section of the Act is quoted. I'm always getting asked for personal information and the requestor saying they haven't got consent but quoting S29 Prevention detection of crime etc. Virtually always reply - get lost - You know where the courts are, go get a court order
If they do not take the necessary steps to protect the information them it is them that is liable.
DVLA may say they do not make a profit from selling on the info. But a simple Freedom of Information request will prove that it is a very lucrative business.
If someone has paid their £60 I would strongly urge them to contact the Information commissioner. Selling on information is a bit of a no no Section 55 of the Act.
Don't go after the PPC's it is the DVLA. Stop them and the whole thing stopsPrivate Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA0 -

That's what gets my goat, along with the assumption that your ilk are entitled to judge and hound disabled people to prove their disability.
An NtO indeed. First a 'PCN' (only of course it's a Parking Charge Notice instead of the word 'penalty') then a 'Notice to Owner'. Who do you think you are?
Hope you don't mind, but I'm gonna nick your signature for another forum I use.
Spreading the word and all that.0
