Basically I say Rollox to that. Sorry. I do not want to offend, but her picture has been on her mothers, her aunties and probably her aunties facebooks for the last 3 1/2 years. So I really feel that its irrelevant.
If they want to do anything about it, then let them. Cos from where I am sitting she is not very much Looked after by them at all! They cannot even get her Guardianship funding sorted out in 6 months yet they are the ones that wanted it in the first place! I have a looked after meeting tomorrow, along with mum and i will be telling them all a few home truthes about the way they have supported us in the last 18 months.

    sorry rant over.

Mooloo do your DGDs get their looks frm their Granny? She is gorgeous and looks happy too.

Actually she is the spitting image of me at her age and also the twins. (Poor girl.)
However I am looking rather jaded and old now.!

    Lol cross posted!

I have a friend that is about to embark on your journey regarding her Grandchildren. I am unsure if I should point her to this thread or not because the treatment and support you have received has been disgusting.

I think that it depends on what side of the Social Services they are. Every area is supposed to be different.! But if she want to sound off, or talk to me then send me a pm and I will give you my details for her to contact me.
I will support who ever I can that has been or is going to go into this situation.
I think mine is compounded by the fact that its twins and both of them have the same problems.
By the way note the avatar has changed. THis is my new granddaughter and myself. Risky I know but I think with all the information and details on here, most people that follow me would know me if they live in close proximity or work with our family just by the descriptions of the situation as its pretty unique.

And now the locals can rally around and come and help me with the garden! (only joking).

Did I mention that housing didnt come in the end. Another load of idiots!

I see exactly what you are saying but legally she is a looked after child and as her foster carer in receipt of payments you have obligations and responsibilities to her - please don't let one simple act of defiance let this all fall apart at the last hurdle. The rest of the family publishing her photo is different to you doing it as her foster carer.

I'm sorry been really busy and not feeling great the last few days will get you letter done tomorrow.

And a huge welcome to the new baby :j
Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.

Point her this way - we can help (or at least we think we can and try our best):p

Right I had a LAC review today. We have a few issues. Like why has nothing moved on in 6 months! The chairwoman was not impressed. The new social worker came in, was introduced to me. I told her that I thought it was appauling that she was allocated our situation in APRIL and hadnt even bothered to call me to introduce herself. She appologies and said she had been on leave!.
Nobody knows who the one between the last and her is/was!
Then it was pointed out that since the 1st of April the review visits should be every 6 weeks. Nobody on thier side has seen us since January. So the Chairwoman and the new social worker are coming to see DGD next week, during halfterm.
They are laying the garden work at the door of the housing again.
    Thats another battle tomorrow.
The new worker was given a long list of things to do. I didnt even bother to take a note book this time. I have had enough of it all.
Booked a review in 6 months just incase it goes pear shaped again! But this time they will come to my house. 17th November.

Right I am off to finish off the outfit and make some trousers.
I dont know how to pixilate her face, so its still there. I will try and get that sorted out, but I think its a total farce. Sorry Gizmo. I doubt my one picture will cause a major stir. They cant be Bothered afterall can they!.

I am also getting yet another complaints form to complain about the situation. As if I dont have enough on my plate to do.
